   Fantastic country atmosphere. Great event on the calender, attracts thousands of people from everywhere. Really, really fun day!!

   A great family day that brings all ages together and is entertainment plus for all. everyone is a winner - be it the punters, visitors for the day not to mention the local community .Also the horses have a great run too.!!!

   What a great weekend!! A friend of mine grew up in ‘Manang’ and organised a great weekend for us. We Camped near the race track on Friday & Saturday nights. Friday night we went to the local pub and had a great time mixing with the locals. At the races our group had a marquee right on the track and I was surprised to see at least 10 horses in each race. Then we danced the night away in the big marquee. There were lots of family groups, a hens night, a couple of netball trips, a footy trip and lots of locals or ex-locals. Would highly recommend this day to anyone - we had such a great time we have decided to make this an annual trip.

    Its always a good day/night at the Manang’ Races,as all your mates come back from all over Aust’. Awesome !!! We never miss it!!! See ya there!!!!

    Have been to the Manang Racs for the last 8 years. Each year has been most enjoyable and I have been surprised at the growth in facilities. I think everyone should experience a day at the Manangatang Cup. Fun for all - young or old.

    Country people, country food,country fun! What more could you ask for? Oh, yes - I forgot - the horses work very hard as do the jockeys. But mainly this is a day for te family to enjoy, particularly in these drought-affected times. The social interaction is vital for people who live in isolated rural areas, more particularly in te current economical climate we live in. Manangatang - you rock!

    60 Years of “they’re Racing at Manangatang”. For 5 generations our family has not missed a meeting. Wonderful Family day, something for everyone. Games for children.Good field of horses. Fashions on the field. Hearty country food ,and drinks. Always a great Band ,to dance till late.

    Manangatang races are legendary! Great atmoshpere, friendly welcoming people, well organised, and overall a great fun day for all the family.
    I also love the fact that this race meeting is organised by a local committee, involves local groups ( schools, Hospital auxilliary etc) and all proceeds go back into the community. Awesome!

    Fantastic country race day!! Always well organised and run. Great atmosphere, friendly people, country hospitality, and music. Best country race day I’ve been to and would definitely not miss it for anything! One to put on the calender for anyone that hasn’t been.

    I travelled to Manangatang races for the first time in 07 with a group of friends and what a day it was! The people, the excitement, the racing, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Our group this year has doubled in size as everyone wants a piece of the action. We will be back year after year.

    People come from everywhere - and rightly so! The Managantang Races really are a great day out for the whole family, a group of friends or for the biggest of racing buffs. It’s definitely one of the most unique events on the country racing circuit, with wonderful community support and spirit. You can’t go wrong with tasty food, country atmosphere and wonderful entertainment that will keep you going right throughout the day. Let’s not forget the exciting racing action either! You wouldn’t want to be anywhere else on Saturday, Oct 11 this year!

    They’re racing at Manangatang. For many years I had heard the rumblings about this terrific event in the Mallee and in 2007 I ventured to Manangatang to see whether the hype was justified. I didn’t leave dissapointed. It was one thing to be well catered for but the great thing for me was the people, genuine and welcoming and their for the one purpose, to have a great day and celebrate their town.

    If you haven’yt experienced Manangatang Racing it is a must do in 2008.

    This Country Cup day is ‘one-of-a-kind’…no other race day is even comparable.
    The entire Manang community embrace the event and ensure visitors from all parts of Victoria and beyond continue coming back for more!
    Great music, people, food - make sure you’re trackside in 08 (Sat. Oct. 11th).

    This day is a great day out. great weather,great country food, Then at night you have fun in the huge marquee dancing and drinking in real country tradition! People of all ages have a night to remember!! Try it …youell be back!

    The locals are great, the band in the the big Marquee at the end of the day is a highlight ( everyone cuts loose and has fun, young and not so young) and the actual horse races are exciting too!!!

    A trip to Manangatang for the Manangatang races is the highlight of our year. We arrive on the Friday night for a fantastic night at the Manangatang Hotel. You can camp on the golf course near the track. great atmosphere in a fantastic rural setting.

    Have been, was a great day. Traveled from Melbourne, won a lot of money, a lot of fun.
    The journey is worth it!
