We had a wonderful day out in Williamstown and going on the seaplane was
fantastic. The views are spectacular of Melbourne and the people running the operation did everything to make our day special. The seaplane is by far one of Melbournes’ best attractions.

I found this to be the most special flight I have ever taken. Both Rod (our pilot) and Leonie (our charming host) made our girls day out the most memorable experience ever. Thanks guys. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone who is considering booking a flight with you.

Mum went on the plane as a celebration of her 85th birthday - she loved every minute of it - Leonie was just fantastic in arranging everything for me and her husband (the pilot) was so helpful getting Mum in and out of the plane - she wanted to go back up again after they landed.

It is something I would recommend for not only tourists to Melbourne (and Williamstown) but all of living in Melbourne - great value

A must do on a clear & fine day.
Melbourne is fantastic from the ground and you can double that from the air. With birds eye views of the city, beeches, parklands, melbourne ports and views stretching to the Dandenong Ranges and Port Arlington.

The fact its based in Williamstown means you step off in what is arguably Melbourne’s most histric and picturesque suburb. Your right in the middle of cafes, restaurants and bars which means you can make a day of it.

A seaplane makes the experience quite something else with an individualtiy that a hot air balloon or helicopter cannot offer.

Bloody brilliant, Took myself and my son Steven up and enjoyed every minute, the Senior pilot is extermlly experienced in sea planes and Steven was blown away with the city and flying over the MCG.
Will do it again and try to go for a longer time.
    Thanks ROD & LEONIE

This is a fantastic experience. Flying is always fun, but when it’s in a light aircraft it is even better. The pilot and office staff (his wife?) make you feel most welcome and epitomise the concept of ‘looking after the customer’.

Taxiing offers great perspectives of Williamstown, but that’s nothing to when you take off. I haved lived in Melbourne all my life, but was astonished to see it from the air - and I learnt a lot too. Rod, our pilot, asked if there was anything special I wanted to see and then adjusted his route accordingly. He was terrific.

Not cheap, but worth every cent. I’d go every weekend, if I could.

A fantastic way to see our vast wonderful playground that is Port Phillip bay and sourounds, there is no other way to get a perspective on our large great city in the comfort of the steady seaplane as it glides over the fantastic MCG, the Yarra and the fringes of the suburbs including the busy Port and the exciting Docklands area.

This is a must do. I organised a surprise flight for my boyfriend and of coarse had to go with him. It was the best present I have bought him AND myself. After we got married he surprised me with a flight, it was fabulous. The staff are lovely, they even remembered us from the first time, it was just like catching up with old friends.

What an excellent morning! I took my partner up for his birthday and Rod and Leoni were the most wonderful people. Leoni made it an absolute breeze to book and answered all my many questions and Rod made the trip so enjoyable by showing my partner how it all worked and then pointing out all the sites of Melbourne. We will be back in September with my Dad definetly! A++++++++ Thanks Guys!

This was a wonderful way to put the Melbourne geography in context.
We had a friendly, knowledgeable pilot and we saw all that we hoped for and more.
I was also very impressed at the level of commuication with a phone call the day before preparing us for the possibility of disruptive winds.
But as it happened, the flight went ahead and we enjoyed every minute of the hour spent in the air.

There is no better way to see the fab skyline of melbourne and the bay then actually seeing it from the sky. we had such a blast, and for someone who has never flown before it was a great way to ease into it. The take off and landing was so smooth as was the flight. The knowledge that Rod had was fantastic and Leonie is a friendly face to meet at the Terminal. All around a great experience!!

Melbourne Seaplanes Scenic flight was an absolutely Fantastic experience. I’d do it again, the pilot talks you around the city, points out certain buildings and entertainment venues, the flight itself was smooth, we had a fabulous day for it.
The take off and landing was smooth also, much different to what I expected.
It’s simply brilliant and would recommend anyone to do it.

I first went up on the Seaplane on a sunny still day in February 2007. We flew over Melbourne and out along the Coast to Half Moon Bay. I was so impressed that I booked myself and 2 young children in to fly over the Grand Prix a month later.
Rod, the Pilot ,was so good at communicating with the children it really added to their experience. I have since bought gift vouchers for friends so I can really recommend this.

My in laws celebrated their 80t birthdays in the seaplane and were amazed at how wonderful it was. These nervous flyers were so relaxed with the whole thing thanks to the confidence building pilot and the lovely Leonie. I had to have a go myself and was excited to see the Dees run out on to the G and actually win a game. It floats and flies and the view is sensational.

My husband and I went to Williamstown and had our first flight in a small plane and found the experience fantastic. The views of Melbourne were better than we expected and the pilot knew the landmarks and explained everything on the tour to us.
We would definitely recommend Melbourne Seaplanes to anyone wanting a different experience in a light aircraft taking off and landing on the water was a buzz.

What more beautiful spots in Melbourne could you get - Williamstown and Sorrento? To be able to fly between the two with such a knoweldgable (and entertaining) guide was fantastic. Leonie put any fears my husband had about flying to rest before we left and he ended up having a great time. The two of them look great in their matching pilot outfits!

Just an incredible experience! Taking off and landing on water is amazing. Putting the views of Port Phillip bay into perpective, with the city skyline, the Yarra river, and the freeway system, not to mention the port of Melbourne is awesome. I would have liked to fly under the West Gate bridge, but the Pilot said this was not allowed. Maybe one day they will change the rules.
