   The fesitival is a wonderful international cultural experience, located in the Idealic township of Castlemaine, which of itself has a rich Victorian history.

   The Castlemaine State Festival is a world class cultural event, and reflects the deep artisitic heritage and talent that lies within central Victoria. A do-not-miss event for 2009!

   We have attended the last few festivals, each time for longer period, last for full 10 days and find it fabulous in all ways - setting, venues, program, diversity, professionality, food, art, etc.
