    Hip and happening with a great vibe and fun and funky folks to advise and help you. The people there are a collectors and interior designers dream. They do all the work for you and all you have to do is rock up with the credit card. A much better selection that alot of places in the City and the stall holders are so knowledgeable. Get that perfect design piece here! I love the TPH. It makes shopping for that extra special piece easy!

    I had heard about the Tyabb Packing House on the radio many times, and with the opening up of Eastlink, I took the opportunuity with my wife and sister to have a look. We arrived in the morning, broke off for lunch and returned in the afternoon. The day was cool, but the people there were warm and friendly. We learnt a lot and saw a lot. We will all definately go back in the near future.

    Around every corner there is a treasure, past present and who knows even future. Find an old favourite among the books, remember granny when in the rocking chair, yourself with the little train. Then theres the search for the lovely smells from the resturant and the train to play on. Need I go on. Its a lovely day out. We go regularly and still never see it all.

    Fantastic stuff - spent hours wandering around and bought all sorts of stuff - as an interior designer I could not fault this place - the best in Melbourne if not the world.

    The best thing is - it’s not a mall! An extensive second hand book section with first editions in amongst the others. Cafe looked great - will definitely factor in lunch next time I’m there. My friend is a collector and is particularly impressed with the wooden and bellows cameras.

    TYABB PACKING HOUSE

    is a very exciting place to visit. I hope you never knock it down. I hope lots of people like or love the place and the antiques. I did also love the cafe the milkshakes rock!! .

    Tyabb Packing House Antiques is the perfect antidote to modern day cares and concerns. Just by being there, surrounded by all the charming and attractive old wares and curios, you feel modern day tensions just slip away! You can escape into another world…….take your time…….. read an old newspaper if you want to….have a coffee and cake in the lovely Elixir cafe. A great place for children and grown-ups. A very unique and important place, as a preserver of things from our past. An enriching experience for everyone!

    A veritable treasure trove of amazing antiques, jewellery, books and toys. The many mysterious rooms, and every nook and cranny filled with all sorts of wonderful delights. Every visit is just like stepping into the past.

    This unique antique village is a wonderland of treasures from yester-year, and a pleasure to browse through, it doesn’t matter what the weather, a good all year venue. PS And the food is good too.

    The cafe is great, the book section full of wonderful treasures and a great trip down memory lane in the oldwares sections. Full of interest no matter your age.

    A wonderful place to visit and take friends for the day, without having to buy anything, the memories of the items for sale come flooding back, and create a lot of enjoyment, the items are well priced with an enormous range of everything, staff are nice to talk to and helpful, we had a wonderful day there and will highly recommend it to our friends, plus we will be visited again many more times in the future,

    Tyabb Packing House Antiques is a unique establishment, with a set of different businesses with one essential theme, and the whole makes for a lovely day out. People can wander around, look at and, perhaps, buy an antique or two, or a remembrance of their day. There are two cafes providing lovely food in relaxed atmospheres.

    It’s simply the best!

    A large barn like shed full of old wares and antiques. Very interesting and quite chea compared to some other places.

    Huge area of all types of antiques under the one roof. Everything from furniture to Jewelry. You will need a few hours to look at everything. Fantastic retaurant that do a great breakfast.

    The diversity and comprehensive coverage of all the antique & collectable arena is amazing. There seems to be an unending supply and its all for sale. All displayed so well, and must have a magic formula for re-stocking and maintaining the interest of those who run it. Plenty of other boutique shops as well. Good eating too.
    Came for a day and could have stayed for two.

    The Tyabb Packing House Antiques is so unique, offering so much more than antiques and nicknacks, with its crafts out the back as well, truly a wonderful day out and even one day isnt really enough. Tthe cafe is wonderful warm and inviting and the staff friendly in there service and attention. Walking around brings back so many memories of my grandparents and when I was growing up. I’ve just had my 4th visit and so look forward to visiting again and again.

    I am a big fan of ‘Old Time’ cameras, the Packing House has a massive range of vintage cameras and the friendly service there was more than great. From Polaroids to classic film lenses, they had it all.

    I didn’t only enjoy my camera shopping experience, the Tyabb Packing House has a room for everything, I loved the old movie posters and the old decor. I am only 20 years old and this is a place that can appeal to the young and old.

    For the Vintage fan this place is a MUST!

    A fantastic variety of genuine antiques with many bargains to be bought! We always top off our visit with a latte at the Elixir Cafe to rest after a hard day’s browsing and shopping. I would recommend a full day to enjoy the experience!!

    Introduced to the packing House recently and really enjoyed the experience.
    So much to see and enjoy, particularly the cameras. It was interesting to talk to the chap doing the restoration of a ceramic figure.
    Great food at the cafe.

    It’s Antiques and Collectables heaven. A bit of a rabbit warren with a new discovery around every corner. I can get lost and explore for hours.

    What a fantastic day out. Hours of fun wandering the packing house and reminiscing over all the ‘my mum used to have one of those’ stuff. The cafe is fantastic and no-one hassles you to buy anything but they are so helpful if you want to.

    The Tyabb Packing house links a fascinating past with a modern life; a trip for a day is wonderful, a nice place to eat aswell as treasures to be seen right on Tyabb station.

    Great day out, you can spend hours just wandering around looking at all the wonderful antiques. The people are friendly and helpful and the cafe has a wonderful selestion of food. Well worth a visit

    I’m a local resident of Tyabb - i think the Tyabb packing house has really put Tyabb on the Map.
    We often walk there on a Sunday - I can always find the right gift and we love the Elixir Cafe - the food is to die for.
    Trust me - its well worth he vIsit - even for lunch.

    I have always had a liking for anything antique (alhough most of the items cost far too much for me) I have followed the British Antiques Roadshow for a number of years, which has increased my interest. I live in Tasmania and don’t often get to visit Victoria. My wife has relations on the Mornington Peninsula, and every time we visit them, i visit the Tyabb Packing House. It has one of the best selections of antiques I have come across in Australia, and is well worth a vist - but make sure you allow a whole day ! (if not two !). There are over forty separate ’shops’, and all the staff are most helpful - even if you don’t actually buy anything. I always come away with at least one momento. A Must see place for every visitor ot Victoria.

    First time visitor. Huge huge place. Next time will spend the whole day there and have a meal in their arty cafe also. A treasure trove of goodies. Like walking back in time. Very high quality of merchandise and a vast range also. REcommend to any visitors to Melbourne.

    Beautiful part of the world! Such an amazing collection of treasures and curiosities….my kids love the book section and can always find another unique treasure to add to their collection. Always able to find that unique gift for anyone! Love it. Love Tyabb!

    I visited Tyabb Packing House yesterday (Sun 8 June). I had never been there before as I am from Sydney and a friend drove me down from Melbourne. I could have spent all day there. What a lovely spot to visit, you certainly need half a day to get around everything. I will be going back to visit again as soon as I possibly can, regards, deb stuart

    Sealed Car park. Ample Parking.. Free Entry. Good Desk Staff who will advise well and mind heavy articles. Good value and quality cafe. Variety of items in main building and other buildings. Caters for male and female viewers, Low price to expensive items. Nostalgic and recent from most fine esoteric toys and books to fine large furniture and other oddities, Rarely overpriced items. Superb Book collection in quiet and well laid out side are with good lighting and adequate walking space to enable passing people to not disturb each other also book “bays” for each type of subject. Can not be all taken in in one day. Models for children interest. Adjacent station and locomotive also add to childrens experience. Well lit and warm enough. Good layout through out in terms of category and each individual site. Close to pretty Hastings and Mornington plus wineries and Athurs seat. A well thought through venture well set up and well run, a great day for anyone.

    Simply amazing… so much old stuff and even antiques ! A absolute proliferation of rare and hard to source items… again even antiques. Everything from Aardvarks (Beswick of course) to Zamponi’s !!!

    I visit every couple of months to see the ever changing range of goodies from books and bric-a-brac to furniture and can even bring the children with the promise of train rides ands food! I have several treasured pieces in my home from Tyabb.

    I love the Tyabb packing house! The staff are all so friendly and you are bound to find a favourite old relic to collect. Its only an hour from melbourne. Well worth the trip.

    A great concentration of Antique and collectable dealers all in the same building which is fully duct heated and very comfortable to walk around in. The licenced restaurant in the building makes it a very good day’s outing. The dealers are always busy and hence their stock is always changing.

    This is possibly the largest antioque complex in Australia and is an Alladin’s Cave of treasures for the antique lover and home decorator.

    Great day out, huge range of antiques and friendly and knowledgeable dealers to learn (and buy) from. Lovely restaurant with fantastic food. Craft village and other attractions also - you can spend the whole day there, and we sometimes do !!!

    We love the TPAC! We are there at least twice a month because there is always somethign new! All the stallholders are lovely and very friendly and if you want good quality then the TPAC is the place to go. There is such a diverse range and the people are so knowledgeable - love it and advise anyone who wants a fantastic day out to visit!!

    I visited the Tyabb packing house just 2 weeks ago with some friends from Geelong. We had a great day which they described as ‘really special’. They saw many items which they remembered from their childhood and others from their early married life. The range at the packing house is huge and the atmosphere is great.

    I have visited several times over the last year and love the old world feel, the displays, the atmosphere and the interesting items for sale. I love the old train to dine in and the other eating spots. All over, just the most fantastic spot to visit. Great to take interstate, overseas visitors to.
