Beautiful victorian era heritage experience.
History and beauty, peacefulness as you wander around the garden and view
the historic statues, also the walk of prime minister statues and adjacent
are the prisoner of war memorial, wonderful cafe and Lake Wendouree.

It was like stepping back in time. What classical old botanical gardens.
Magnificent grand old trees, stunning marbel sculptures and elegant rotundas. Even though it was the middle of winter and we visited during a famous Ballarat mist we couldn’t have had more fun.
The Prime Ministers avenue was a great insight into Australia’s history.
The gardens are to be recommended to all.
We finished by having a coffee and bickie at the Pipers on Parade Cafe directly opposite.
