   Self contained Units located on the Canal System in East Gippsland near the beautiful Lakes system of East Gippsland.

   My family and I have stayed at Captains Cove over Christmas and we would gladly do it again. The accommodation is excellent and being right on the water really adds to the holiday feel. The couple that run CC are very friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Paynesville is a lovely town and there is plenty to do with such a variety of water sports. We played golf at Bairnsdale Golf Club and it was a very nice course. We plan to go back there again soon.

   Fantastic accomodation situated on the Gippsland Lakes at Paynesville.

   3 bedroom fully furnished and equipped holiday town houses with private jetty

   A fun-filled place where you can enjoy boating, fishing,walking, golfing, shopping and enjoying restaurants. Luxury apartments with great views.

   Beautifully appointed accommodation with all facilities and amenities. You literally only have to pack your clothes. Towels, linen, cooking utensils are all provided. Paynesville provides and excellent base for touring the district

   We have had many happy stays at Captains Cove. It has excellent facilities and the location is perfect.

    A beautiful and breathtaking place where you can experience true relaxation and comfort. Boat tours throughout the canals show the beauty of the Gippsland area and you are never short of a meal in the ideal place for fishing. It can be for families or your own personal retreat. A fantastic holiday destination with friendly staff and great facilities. The apartments are no short of luxury with a lovely view of the canal in which the swans, ducks and pelicans occupy. I would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to take a break from life.

    The best accommodation we have found on the lakes. Convenient, own jetty, 2 storey with great view down the canals and excellent accommodation.
