You forgot to mention lunch. Bendigo is one of the nicer places to have lunch - with sidewalk cafes under verandas, lovely 19th century streetscapes and a beautiful park in the centre of the city. The locals are friendly and there are some lovely old pubs with chefs in the kitchen and their own locally brewed beers at the bar. With travel as part of my job, I try to fit in lunch in Bendigo whenever I can.
bendigo is sooo coooooolllll i luv it
Great Town all year round with heaps of things to see and do, located on 90 minutes from Melbourne
I really love how the Bendigo residents have embraced their Chinese heritage into the town as often you see Caucasian or European residents marching in the Chinese Procession. A beautiful blend of mutual respect for other cultures. Well Done Bendigo!
