The panoramic Phillip Island GP Circuit is home to the annual Superbike World Championship and the Australian Motorcycle GP. At other times throughout the year, visitors can take a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the circuit, including the control tower and pit lane. Jump behind the wheel of a go-kart and go for a spin on the 760 metre replica of the main GP track. For heart pounding action, buckle in for three ‘hot laps’ around the GP track with an experienced driver in a bright red HSV race car, reaching speeds in excess of 200 km/h.

We have been travelling to the GP from the first race and it is now an annual event. We started as two bikes but over the years it has grown to 6-8 at any one time. Unless you ride a bike no one can explain the feeling of riding onto and off that island in the middle of all those bikes. It is an awesome day!

” The Island ” is a must do, at least twice every year . Superbikes & Motogp . A naturally stunning setting for the track which brings world wide aclaim to our nation.
In all types of weather, my friends & I have always had a great weekend’s entertainment both at the circuit & also in the surrounding towns. Even the long journey from Adelaide is lessened by the arrival at the track. Go Aussies !

Stunning track always promotes stunning racing. Well organized both inside the track and outside. A circuit that has breath taking views of natural surrounds and an atmosphere on race day to be remembered.

What a buzz!! Our visit was really exciting for the whole family. We all went on the go karts - my youngest in a tendem kart with his dad, then we all played on the massive slot car track and then went for a guided tour and ended up on the winner’s podium. An absolutely impressive venue, great value for money and a great place for the whole family!! Well done . . .

A great place to visit for all the family. The go karts is entertainment plus with the best go karts around. Race days, especially World Superbikes make it a fun weekend. A must visit.

As a motoring enthusiast and a track sponsor Phillip Is offers great value from V8s to classic car events. Race days are always well run which maximises the benfit to the event attendee’s.

If you haven’t been to an event at this circuit you must, its a buzz, the atmosphere at Moto GP is fantastic, to top it off you have a breathtaking view to enjoy all day. Fantastic.
Also even better now with the organised traffic management on big events, takes no time to get home.
Note: If hot take an umbrella, limited shade, and if cold take a warm jacket….

An essential part of being a true Aussie. Beautiful location, exciting sports action, all while developing more reliable, safe and fuel efficient vehicles. An object lesson in intelligently using society’s resources for both pleasure and profit.

To be involved in the whole MOTOGP weekend is great. Comrardery and just like minded people (mostly) enjoying the pinnacle of motor racing. Camp at the track then extend the weekend and take a ride down through gippsland and sorround’s. Great, scenic roads and all in all makes for a great break.
