What an amazing experience. The kids loved the peace and quiet of the maze, and were themselves amazed at how “cut off” you could feel from the rest of the word! So were my husband and I!

I have 3 children ages 5, 3 and 1 years old. In the last 5 years we have had several trips to Ashcombe Maze, and each time the children are even more enchanted than the visit before due to the many varied and seasonal activities offered at this tourist destination. To watch children who have bountiful loads of energy exploring and laughing non-stop from the moment they arrive to getting into the car and jorneying back home, is just magical. My husband and I have also taken the grandparents and a few overseas guests for afternoon teas in the tea rooms where the food and beverages are of an exceptional standard. Our family rates it 10 out of 10 for kids and adults alike.

Fun, educational and great outdoor exercise for every age. It gets people outside again in a world ruled by inside techonology and it teaches us to think abstractly and outside the square!

I live on the cusp of the Mornington Peninsula and everytime we decide we’d like to go out for the day and do something really enjoyable as a family, with or without friends, we always end up back at beautiful Ashcombe Maze - it’s such a delightful, picturesque, fun place to be without having to travel too far.

Find your way through 4 different mazes - varying degrees of difficulty. Find the hidden garden gnomes as you wander through the beautiful gardens and find the answer to the puzzle as you find the hidden fairies in the woodlands. Great fun activity in the fresh air - kids and adults alike thoroughly enjoy.

The maze is a living work of art and has been an attraction on the Peninsula for the last 25 years! We love it because our whole family has has grown with this visiting every couple of years to see whats new and exciting. Very family orientated but lots of spce if you want a romantic walk as well. they have recently established a Lavender Maze, this is now a highlight as the gift shop stocks great lavender oils, gifts and remedies. Love It!
