My daughter and I love tennis and we really enjoy going to the open together each year to see the world’s best slogg it out. There are also many side amusements and things to do such as the Garnier tent that my daughter loves to participate in.

Fabulous event where you can get up close and personal with the stars. All the courts offer great viewing and you get a great buzz by being a part of an international event. You can buy a ground pass if you’re on a budget and you can still see heaps.

There is something about the atmosphere in Melbourne during the Australian Open that is so uplifting. It makes you want to pick up a raquet and get playing! The warm sunshine and sparkling Yarra, what could be a better Aussie experience?

i had never been to the tennis before and was fortunate enough to experience it last year.
As I walked into the tennis arena, it just about took my breath away . To see the players up so close and the crowd getting into the excitement was incredible. The entertainment
value was also extended to the immediate crowd in the seats surrounding me as theer were a few that had had a few :)( and were adding to he entertainment value of the day.
all in all it was one of the best days I have had. and well worth the effort to get there.

This is one amazing international sporting event. The first time I went I became hooked - the atmosphere is the fusion of so many colours, faces, ages, sounds and backgrounds from all over the world. It’s a time where Melbourne shines to the world in January and I love meeting with my friends and family just laying in Garden Square watching intense matches being entertained by the big screen. Love it!

Attending this event makes one feel part of an international event - and depending on how you dress you may even get worldwide coverage.
