A very interesting place to visit on the drive to Melbourne or other parts of Victoria. I seem to have bought many items of Bendigo pottery over the years and they have always been appreciated.

Even teenagers like this place, AND will actually buy pottery.

Major inland city with some magnificent buildings from the gold mining era. Unique features include the tour of the city on the talking tram, one of the best regional art galleries in Australia, the Golden Dragon Chinese Museum with its cultural connections with the Chinese involvement with the gold rush, the Central Deborah Gold Mine, the Bendigo Pottery, many wineries producing some magnificent wines as well as a vast range of very fine dining experiences.

Making a pot on the wheel at bendigo pottery is great fun.
