   On entry to the vineyard , the rolling hills appear as an instant welcome. We firstly went into the cellar door just for a viewing however the warm and friendly staff plus the quality of the wine and the cheese (a very pleasant surprise addition) lead us to wander upstairs for a meal. Are we happy we did , the quality was outstanding - we had duck pappadelle pasta and the beef cheeks , washed down with the winery’s Pinot Rose (just like a French premieur) and there Estate Chardonnay. Do yourself a favour , go !!

   The winery is very clean and view is extraordinary nice. The restaurant is very well set up with the view of the Vineyard and Food is very well prepared and delicious. I would not hesitate to reccommend De Bortoli Winery any time.

   We were married at DeBortoli Winery, the wine, food, view and service were all fantastic. You cannot ask for a better place to visit.

   After visiting the ‘parent’ company in the MIA, this was a must.
   I was not disappointed and the views were wonderful too!

   I haved lived in the Yara valley for 30 Years , We are very lucky as we have a great deal of excellent restaurants in the Yarra Valley , I travel all over the world and eat out a great deal .
   De Bortoli’s Wine is”The very best,” We served this for our daughter’s wedding which we held on our property ,
   The view from their Restaurant is fantastic, but more important is that the food is DELICIOUS ,
   all in all its an experience you cant’ miss..

   This winery and restaurant is a must when in Victoria! The food was fantastic and the wine was even better! The rolling hills of grapevines and friendly staff really make this an enjoyable experience…one of my most memorable on my trip from Canada!

    What a Great restaurant experience!!! Not only was the food yummy, and the staff friendly but the wine…out of this world!!! A trip to the cheese shop before or after lunch is a must!
    Would definitely recommend trying this establishment!!

    Friendly staff make wine and cheese tasting in the cellar door a relaxing and informative experience. The restaurant does wonderful seasonal food. The Sunday feast was a great way to enjoy lunch with a group of friends. Very tasty and the desserts are fantastic.

    such a beautiful venue, unpretentious but great food and lovely views. very good value for money. nice angle with the cheese tasting alongside the wine - both very good!

    A month ago, two girlfriends & myself did a rush gourmet tour of Victoria to fit in with a work trip. Over 4 days we ate in Geelong, Queenscliff, Pt Lonsdale & finally at De Bortoli’s winery in in the Yarra Valley. We could barely fit in the car to drive back to NSW and although the others we great De Bortoli’s was the best experience of the trip!

    Have heard from many people about their wonderful lunches and the cellar door experience tasting both the wine and cheese that I had to try it. I wasn’t disappointed.Friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. Fantastic day.

    If you previously thought the food was great you need to experience the new chief’s food it is fantastic.

    Had a girls weekend in Sept last year (6 women in a Tarago - what fun!) and we had a fantastic morning at the winery, with a very informative tour and wine tasting. Our host was brilliant, and we bought quite a bit of wine and cheese in the cellar door afterwards. GORGEOUS views and landscaping too.
    Love the Yarra Valley!

    Had our function at De Bortoli and found the whole experience was terrific & the Events Co-ordinators were fantastic to deal with!

    The day we had a De Bortoli winery was fantastic, our Tour guide had fantastic knowledge not only of wine but the family and the process involved in make great wines. All 7 of us had the most enjoyable time and the service provided was outstanding

    Absolutely wonderful experience, stunning views of the Yarra Valley, the wine was great, cheese tasting in the foyer. Excellent staff that are well educated on the importance of finding the right wine for you. Tours were top notch, an altogether wonderful experience.

    Beautiful venue, lovely gardens and terrific drive to get there. Amazing how close to the eastern suburbs it is….

    Beautiful experience. Food and wine is great. The service at the restaurant is just wonderful. You should try it for yourself.
