I live in Dimboola and I am very passionate about MY TOWN. I work very hard on the garden areas and naturestrips to make our town a nicer and more pleasant for our visitors. There are many people besides me who work extremely hard for Dimboola. Dimboola has much to offer tourism….our river….indigenous culture…..railway……Sidney Nolan studio….one of the best Historical Societies in Victoria ….they also have a printing museum, which houses many printing machines …all in working order…and can be displayed at any time…possibly the only one of it’s kind in Victoria and beyond. There are many projects in the pipeline..walking tracks….town signage…..restoration of our station, railway bridges, turntable and surounding garden area. We have the only Memorial Secondary College which is one of the top Colleges in the state and are about to bring students in from other towns to further their education. One of the teachers from the College recently won a State Exellence award. I could go on….but invite you to come to Dimboola to see for yourself…..you could contact the Historical Society for information or a guided tour of our town….
