Stay in and explore the town of Apollo Bay- the cafes and restaurants, the funky shops, the gorgoeus beach, the foreshore and the surrounding hills, views and Marengo.

I have just booked a weekend away at Apollo Bay as have not tripped down the Great Ocean Road in a number of years.
We are looking forward to checking out Lorne, The Otways, the bush, the rainforest, the beaches and of course Apollo Bay itself.

What a place. I have been going there since I was a child and still try to get there once a year 30 years on.The view along The Great Ocean Road is stunning, then you arrive at Apollo Bay and realise that heaven is a place on earth. The beaches are fantastic, waterfalls simply brilliant and the atmosphere of the whole place makes you never want to leave.

I lived in Apollo Bay as a child. across the road from the golf course. We used to walk the beach looking for Nautalis shells and collecting golf balls on the golf course. I caught my first fish off the pier and many years later took my now husband on a date to see all of my favorite places. There is nothing like a drive along the great ocean road and finally making it to a special place where you can enjoy the views, eat great food and have a great coffee.

we LOVE apollo bay - so much to see and do - plenty of local surf breaks, 2 excellent pubs, the festival is always fun, sandy feet cafe is our fav breakfast place, buffys is the local restaurant and the food is excellent! you can go for a walk up the hill and the lookout is amazing! sometimes you can see dophins in the bay and walk for ages along the beautiful beach, the fish co-op is fantastic and the best thing is the friendly locals!

I love Apollo Bay and can’t go past the local Bakery! Every day I just have to have one of their delicious Custard Tarts - nowhere else can bake them soooo good. Just one of the many to do whilst exploring Apollo Bay and watching the world go by!
