I came across this place by accident on a trip over to Melbourne from Europe. He certainly knows his stuff and took the time to explain the ins and outs of Australian flora to us. Don’t tell too many people about this secret tip though!

I have watched this garden centre grow over the years through the good times and the not so good times, yet during this, the staff have always shown pride, dependability, responsibility, knowledge about the product and the company they work for plus most of all, the staff have always shown respect for their customers be they the first time gardener or the well “grounded” gardener. I believe they are a destination point with the 7 outlets they provide for customers to enjoy purchasing or simply getting advise and then to top it all of with morning/afternoon tea or lunch at the cafe. I wish them every success.

We came to Gardenworld a couple of weeks back and the lady who helped us to select our apple trees was absoluately delightful, she put them into bags for us loaded them on the trolley, gave us the advice we needed and was lovely to deal with. Her service was fantastic and we are sure to return to garden world because of her. Thanks and regards Mary

    What a fantastic place.

We have been working in our ‘new’ garden since we moved in a year ago, but until we went to Garden World could not find a lot of the plants we wanted.

We also needed equipment for a garden pond which we found at Garden World.

    The staff are so helpful.

The stock is beautiful, and the coffee and cake wonderful.

We are SO glad we heard about Garden World.

We will return - again and again !!

I voted for Garden World because whenever I go there, as I have done since it first opened, I have always received expert advice, been able to look at plants without being pressured to buy. When I’m sad I always leave happy and cheerfull, and if you don’t have a plant I want you will get it in for me.

For learning about plants, there is no other like this place. Some of the staff are absolute enthusiasts. What amazed me was Collectors Corner - they have this collection of fossils and gemstones, as well as a whole lot of wierd and creepy plants - cool.

This place has an amazing bonsai display and an even more amazing cacti display. There is a water garden company called Lotus, a shop of all sorts called Collectors Corner and one of the biggest ranges of plants I have ever seen. There is even a shop that shows you how to grow vegetables hydroponically, using minimal water. There is also a cafe that is clean and well stocked with yummy cakes. Well worth an early morning or afternoon visit. It is also on the way to the Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island - take the Greens Rd turnoff from eastlink.
