At Gisborne Peak you can adopt a vine. It is yours for 3 years. They have hands on days where you will learn to care for your vine, prune the vine, pick the grapes, have a picnic at christmas time in the vineyard and much more. They have a lovely restaurant with woodfired pizzas and of cause wonderfull wine. Its not just a one day visit it is a on going experience.

we are vine ‘adopters’ and just love our visits to Gisborne Peak winery. There’s always a warm welcome, top pizzas and other delicious fare, and of course the terrific pinot, rose and Chardonnay. We always leave with a boot full of wine!

Gisborne Peak Winery - one of our favourite weekend spots. Great for chilling out with the kids (we love the pizzas) or relaxed weekend business lunches (wine is great too). Every guest we have ever taken to GPW has really enjoyed the whole experience. Barb and Bob have created a great space.

Gisborne Peak Winery is a great spot to go on a lazy Sunday afternoon to enjoy some wine and a wood fired pizza. I’m a proud “My Vine” parent too. It’s such a unique experience to have your vine growing away in the vineyard and watching it change through the seasons. Ced le Meledo is playing at the cellar door through July too which should be great. He is a very talented musician.

We love comming to GPW and relaxing with a glass of wine and a wood fired pizza over looking the vinyard.
Bob and Barbara have creatied a unique, wonderful and relaxing environment where you can catch up with friends and family. Their welcoming hospitality is second to none!
They are always thinking outsise the square and are always comming up with new ideas and events through out the year to keep us old faces and new ones comming back, events such as Melbourne cup and warm in winter, adapt a vine and dinner party in a box just to name a few.
It’s always exciting to see what they will have next. (Not to mention what great fun we have when we do go to these events!)

35 minutes from Melbourne is a tranquil vineyard offering great facilities to enjoy some wine tasings no matter what the weather. Add to that the wood fired pizzas, tasting platters and garlic prawns done in the pizza oven and you have a magic place to spend an hour or two. Try the new sparkling red before they’re all sold.

We have adopted two Pinot Vines, and my Bro-in-law has one as well. We love relaxing at Gisborne peak with friends at weekends over a couple of Pizzas and a bottle of Rose.
During the week, Barbara or Anna puts together a beautiful Tasters Platter, again, washed down with a nice bottle of Rose.
Adoptees get great discount on all wine purchases, so we usually leave with a mixed dozen of Rose, Chardy and Pinot.

We are the proud parents of one of the adopted vines. Just love the Gisborne WInes. As we live interstate our visits are limited but when we have managed to pop in the hospitality and service has been superb. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Located in a beautiful part of the world.

Great spot perched on the edge of the little lake surrounded by the vines. For a small winery I must say that the range of estate wines, plus 2 ring-ins, is fantastic! Quality at an affordable price is a fair assessment. Warm friendly staff, great food and a casual atmosphere add to the scene. Great value in my book.

Definitely recommend Gisborne Peak with its great wines, super woodfired pizzas and warm welcoming staff. All this, along with varied events held throughout the year and its proximity to Melbourne make it a firm favourite in our books.

Great food & Wine in a cosy friendly atmosphere. I spend a lot of time relaxing at Gisborne Peak with friends and think it’s the best way to unwind at the weekend. Bob and Barb are exceptional hosts and always make you feel very welcome and at home. I also have MyVine which I picked right near the driveway so I see it every time I drive into the winery. Not everyone can say they own a piece of a winery!

Great food, wine and atmosphere. We love the place. Feel like you’ve had a really good break when you spend the arvo at Gisborne Peak Winery. My elderly mum is very fussy with her food and normally won’t eat Pizza, but she loves the Vegetarian Pizza at the winery.

    Kind regards

I purchased three vines as gifts three years ago and the six of us make it a regular event to visit our vines, enjoy the pizzas, sample a new wine or two and catch up with Bob and Barb whom always welcome us with open arms. They really make you feel like one of the family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND….

Bob and Barb (owner’s) have the best pizza! Besides being woodfired, I don’t know what else they do to it to make it taste so good, but it’s great! They also have some of the best hospitality you’ll ever experience! Their vineyard is a must see when visiting the area!

We purchased a vine for friends as a gift - what a fabulous novel idea! Went to check out the winery first, and found very warm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable cellar door staff, in a lovely environment. Pizzas are great too

A fantastic place to visit any time of the year, with warm friendly service and great wines. The minute you walk in the cellar door you feel like part of the Gisborne Peak family. Lots of fun to be had on the many ‘hands on days’. Number one in my books.

What can I say, a cellar door that is friendly and inviting time and time again. A great selection of wine from the Marwarra Vineyard from dry Semillion to their new Sparkling Pinot. Try their delicious woodfired pizza (vegetarian is recommended!) Over winter they will be having hearty soups and stews. This is a winery that can be enjoyed in any season. Only 40mins from Melbourne at the gateway to the Macedon Ranges, well worth a visit.
