Inverloch would have to be one of the best kept secrets for a fantastic holiday experience. It’s the quintessential beautiful seaside village; the beaches are gorgeous, the eateries are great and the atmosphere in is so relaxing. Our kids love going to ‘The Caves’ to look for dinosaur fossils and staying at the Big4 Holiday Park in town - it’s awesome!

I like to keep it a secret, but, somewhere this good is just going to be found out. Seriously we have got it all the best beaches, the best walking and bike tracks, the best restaurants and the best coffee, oh did I mention the antique shops, the easy drive from Melbourne. Do yourself a huge favour, come and check us out, you wont want to go home. Read the other comments.

Inverloch is a perfect place for a break - summer or winter. Great walking and drives, lovely beaches and a variety of shops to keep anyone happy. Also, there is a range of accomodation types to suit everyone. Our family love to go there and stay - considering retiring there.

Had 5 nights at the RACV resort with my husband & daughter of 8yrs. We really needed a break from city life & the treadmill of life! This was it! We had terrible weather, rain, hail, wind, but it didn’t matter. We had our lovely appointed 2 bedroom villa, we had the heated indoor pool (swam every day), the games room where we taught our daughter to play table tennis (she is better than us now), the brand new looking tennis courts (which we unfortunately only watched the rain flow off), the relaxing restaurant where I had a few hot chocolates while sitting in front of the fire and overlooking the ocean. As if that wasn’t enough, we went for long walks along the stunning beaches, paddled in the freezing water, explored the rock pools, went fishing (well my husband did - us girls sat in front of our huge TV in our villa and surfed the millions of pay-TV channels - oh yes, and we ate at the wonderful bakery, and the quirky Antique & Coffee shop in Inverloch. The peolpe in the town were so very friendly. All in all we came back refreshed & rejuvinated ’til the next sea change calls us. (PS. Did I mention I won Monopoly!?)

Inverloch is my favourite beachside place to holiday. I have tried others but keep coming back here, especially for the Jazz festival in March. The beaches are superb, the inlet is great for sailing and for younger kids to swim, they have surfing classes for the kids, the people are really friendly, the shops are cute, there are wonderful bakeries and places to eat, and I guarantee anyone would have a good time here - it’s so relaxed. Oh, and there are all sorts of places to stay, from a terrific camping ground through to luxury B and Bs and everything in between.

Inverloch is awesome!!! I remember when it was the town no-one knew about and you would go on your annual visit there in the summer and no-one knew where you were going coz they hadn’t heard of it. Now not only does everyone know what your talking about when you mention it but I have actually ran into people I know down there! I live 4 hours away and I run into people I know from my home town!!! Thats crazy!!!

the safest beach I know of patrolled by the Inverloch SLSC and Andersons inlet has the best fishing and beaches without waves for little ones. It is a gem.

Inverloch is only half an hour from my home, but we are still regular visitors and holiday there as often as we can. The beaches are beautiful and the views spectacular. Now that Inverloch has an RACV resort we stay even more often. With so much for the children to do and even if the weather is bad they are never bored at the resort. We stay in the caravan section and the facilities are fantastic. Anyone looking for the perfect getaway should give Inverloch a try. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! Everyone should see this view at least once!

Regardless of season Inverloch is a magical piece of Victoria. A myriad of water sports, spectacular coastal walks with views to the Prom and Venus Bay, great food and coffee galore, quick local drives to a selection of the best wineries and markets in Vic, and of course the local icon - Maccas boat quietly anchored in the peace of the Inlet. it’s no wonder the people who know about this treasure try to keep it a secret….shhhh..

I’ve been visiting Inverloch since I was a little girl when it was a sleepy little seaside town. Inverloch has grown in popularity, but hasn’t lost it’s appeal. With beautiful beaches and loads to do for the whole family you’ll return to Inverloch again and again.

Once you have visited or holidayed in Inverloch on Andersons Inlet you will return and probably end up retiring there. This area and surrounds has everything going for it, as the RACV found out and built their latest resort here. Less than two hours drive from Melbourne and most of South Gippsland is less than one hour away.

A fabulous, easily accessible place with something for everyone. The drive between Inverloch and Cape Paterson has wonderful scenery and you may even spot a tanker on the horizon.

The walk along the beach into town for a coffee in the morning is always breathtaking. Every morning is different. Wild and bumpy some mornings. Calm and flat on others. There’s every chance you’ll see Graham fishing on the inlet. Smoke in hand. St Kilda beanie on his head. Talking about the great whiting he caught yesterday…

    Inverloch kiosk
A find! Great place for breakfast or lunch. Then explore the beach opposite, to walk off the evidence…

I travelled to Inverlock by car, throughly enjoyed the coast line from Cape Patterson to Inverlock.
After fishing off the jetty, ( my very first time ) it was such a lovely day , but only caught small size fish which had to be put back in the sea.
A very enjoyable walk along the walking track to the town, and along the beach.
After a beautiful day we stayed at Inverlock RACV Resort, which was first class.
Very helpful, service ,excellant, & very comfortable accommodation.
Will certainly stay again & enjoy more of the surroundings & trips of the area.

Take a picnic and eat under trees while the children play on the equipment, then do the beach walk up the cliff, enjoy the views and visit the big tree can you spot the native sarsparilla plants along the track? Head of on a small drive to Eagles Nest and watch the surfers catch a wave or play in the waves yourself. Drive back to town for the best fish and chips ever! And eat them on the beach.

Peaceful seaside village with safe inlet and surf beaches - something for everyone - fishing, boating, sailing, surfing, sailboarding. Historical beach and bush walks , dinasaur digs, beautiful Bunurong caostline. Central to Phillip Island penguins and Wilsons Prom.
