Huge area that the kids can play all day. Great playgrounds, BBQ’s and lawn area to play cricket. We also hired a canoe and sailed around the lake area for an hour. Kids were exhausted, so was dad.

The maze and flying foxes are all free and its a helpful break from the Fun4Kids Festival up in the town.

Lake Pertobe Advenuture Playground is a fantastic FREE playground to take the family. The grassed wide open spaces and bbq facilties make it the perfect place to entertain the kids, go for a stroll or relax on a picnic rug watching the world go by. It is located across the road from the beach and caravan parks for easy access to accommodation. It is a great playground and the best thing about it is you dont have to pay a cent! Definately a cheap day out

As a child I spent many a summer holidaying in Warrnambool. Some of my best memories are spending countless hours picnicing and playing at the Lake Pertobe Reserve with all my cousins, whether it be playing cricket, on the flying fox or getting lost in the maze. I now have the priviledge of enjoying the park with my wife and three children when we visit Warrnambool and they all agree that it is one of, if not the best ,’free’ playgrounds in Victoria.
