Mansfield Zoo is a fantastic interative Zoo where you can handfeed most of the animals, even the gorgeous monkeys. We had deer and kangaroos eating out of our hand and following us most of the way around the zoo - Miss Greedy the fallow deer is insatiable, even trying to eat our lunch. We also got to watch the two African lions being fed - we were so close to these awesome animals it was unbelievable! Its great fun to be this close to animals

    We slept overnight at the zoo and what a great experience to wake up surrounded by Kangaroos and deer. The lions roaring at the sunset before a full moon appeared over mt Buller was just magic. Sleeping in very comfy swags beside the lake and taking a night walk around the zoo while befriending and feeding most of the animals during the day. We were also aloud to assist at the animals daily checkup and feeding time. Then watching the lions being fed with an informative speech. It is well worth attending!!!!!

    I recently spent an afternoon at the Mansfield Zoo.

    What a lovely day out. We purchased a bag of food and wandered around while the deer and wallabies ate out of our hands. The lion feeding was great. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and a snack on the verandah while we looked out at the beautiful pastures and Mt. Buller.
