Take a drive from Lakes Entrance through Buchan to Wulgulmerang and turn right onto the McKillops Bridge Road.
Stop at the Little River Gorge and peak over the edge of the canyon.
At McKillops Bridge paddle in the Snowy river and enjoy a packed lunch under the shade of the Eucalyptus trees.
Continue the drive through to Bonang and turn south along the Bonang Rd. to Orbost.
Return along the Princes Hwy to Lakes Entrance, or continue an eastward journey through Marlo, Cabbage Tree and Cann River.
Some of this road is not sealed and is quite narrow. The McKillops Bridge Road is not suitable for towing caravans and articulated vehicles.

Although a little scary in places; this drive is more spectacular than the Great Ocean Road. It is impossible to resist a swim in the Snowy during the summer months.
