Since it was built in 1924, The Merricks General Store has had a rich history as a meeting place for locals and travellers alike. Now lovingly refurbished the store again lives and breathes its 80 years of history.

    Merricks General Store have a great combination of fantastic food & local wine, excellent attention to detail, great atmosphere - often with local musicians playing and each time i’ve been there i’ve always felt relaxed and comfortable.

    The coffee is pretty good also!

    Restored and refurbished to exacting standards, the Merricks General Store has rightly regained its place as a premier meeting site for both locals and visitors alike! The rural setting is alluring, and the store offers quality local food and wine and provides the perfect atmosphere for a chat, a cuppa or a good old-fashioned yarn!
