Mt. Baw Baw is my families first choice for the closest winter skiing holiday.
The whole Baw Baw plateau is a great place to visit in winter for the downhill and cross country skiing, but also in summer for a variety of walks through snowgum thickets, sphagnum moss bogs, boulder fields, carpets of wildflowers, and great views across the Victorian Alps and the LaTrobe Valley.
