A very unusual and unique rock formation which is well worth the 400 metre walk from the car park. Further natural features that are also accessed from the same car park are the Blow holes and the Springs, all of which are linked by the Great South West Walk.
Here’s a good idea. Get dropped off at the car park and walk the 7 kms back to Bridgewater beach via the GSWW. You will pass the mainland fur seal colony and take in the breathtaking views of Victoria’s highest above sea level cliff tops. Then call into the kiosk at the end for some refreshments.
But try to keep this to yourself, otherwise we will have everyone out there doing it!

This unique natural rock formation has been a well known tourist attraction around Bridgewater for many years. It is only 400 metres from the car park from where you can also visit the Blow holes which can be a very exciting place when the Southern ocean is raging.
Both of these features are linked by the ‘Great South West Walk’, so why not get dropped off at the car park and follow the walk around the cape and back to Bridgewater beach. This 7km walk will take you past the mainland seal colony observation deck via the majestic cliff tops of Cape Bridgewater and back to the kiosk for some well earned refreshments. Just keep this quiet though, or we will have everyone out there doing it.
