Phillip Island has always been an exciting place for me to visit. Wether its swimming, enjoying the beaches or visiting the other tourist attractions I have always enjoyed it. My helicopter flight will now be one of the most memorable experiences I have had on the Island. The sights were fantastic, the day was perfect and the view was awesome. A must do!!!!

This experience was incredible! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it and we were amazed to see Phillip Island’s unspoiled beauty this way. We love the island and have driven across many times but by flying around and over the island was the best experience! The pilot and airport staff were very accomodating and gave us the time of our life! We will definitely do it again!

I found Phillip Island Helicopters as part of a great event weekend for the World Superbike Races. I was pleasantly surprised by how accomodating the staff of this company were and very considerate of my needs for a somewhat complicated travel plan. In this case, I must take my hat off to the professional and friendly management of every aspect of dealing with this amazing group, flight and part of the world. I came from Southern California for this trip and I could not have had it go any better. Cheers! See you next time.

My dad in his seventies and myself were terrified at first being scared of heights. Height is one thing but taking your feet off the ground for the first time is a fear that the pilots well understood. The crews experience professional and empatthetic manner soon had our feet back on the ground as we shared comfortable and beautiful mamories of Phillip Island. Thankyou

We took three flights over Christmas with family and friends, and everyone was delighted with them. The pilots were competent, thoughtful, and very friendly. We felt the trip around the Island was excellent ,and everyone comented that they found it very enjoyable. Beyond the fact that Phillip Island Helicopter Flights is a gift with a difference, it is the great service provided by the company. When purchasing a gift certificate they go above and beyond to ensure the recipients are catered for, liaising with them to ensure the flight goes smoothly and fits in with holiday plans. The lucky couple had a fabuluos flight and took some amazing photos that just would not have been possible from the road.

What to do something different? Then this is it. A Helicopter ride over one of Australia’s most beautiful destinations - Phillip Island. Forget a plane ride it’s so common now days - helicopers are the way to go! Getting up in one of these beauties is the only way to get a feel for this place - the wonderful beaches, clear waters, check out the Nobbies, Rhyll Inlet, Newhaven, San’y and Churchill Island. This is on offer to you right at your doorstep and (I might add) at a brillant price! The guys are extrememly helpful and reasuring (for those of us who are a little worried!). Go on, have a go!

There are three ways to view a track - and sadly this was not the first track I visited, but have now walked it, flown over it, and still to ride it!
The helicopter was a suprise perfect girft for my motor enthuiast husband and the scenery and commentary to the seals, over the island etc was a perk. I think I got the better end of the deal!!
A must do for Philip island.

The Phillip Island Helicopters tour was awesome, we were fortunate enough to have a birds eye view of the race track and I would have to say the experience was one of the most exhilirating of my life. The service was second to none and I highly highly recoomend this service to anyone who wishes to see more of the beautiful Phillip Island scenery. I would recommend this as an International experience.

Steve and his ‘gang’ went out of their way to give me and my friend a trip in their helicopter. We both have physical disabilities, so this trip was a GREAT exprience for us to see views that most people (who are able) take for grated.

We purchased the Phillip Island helicopter flight from the RACV online for Dad for Christmas. He has been going to Phillip Ialnd for 60 years and has lived there for 25. It was just a wonderful time for him at 81 as he had never been in one. The pilot flew him over his house and all around the coast. It was great to be in the helicopter with him and my brother, a really great family experience we will treasure..

My partner and I did this back in February of this year via RedBalloon.
Our pilot was easy going and fun and our package also included lunch at Bass Estate Winery which was lovely.
We felt very special with a helicopter waiting to take us back from lunch!!! Not something you would do often (unless you’re Richard Pratt!), but definitely worth the expense.

Phillip Island Helicopters was a great addition to our Moto GP 2007 package for our customers. We used the helicopter service to transport our guests from their accommodation to the GP track. This was a highlight for all concerned. The professionalism from Steve was very impressive and we are again using them this year for the same event. We recently had the pleasure of taking a helicopter flight with Phillip Island Helicopters. From the time we made our booking to the completion of our flight we were treated like VIP’s by their friendly, professional staff. Our most competent pilot Chris soon had us at ease and we thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular scenery which was accompanied by a very informative commentary.
Have since been highly recommening their services as a must do on your travel itinerary!!!

I got given a voucher from my friends at work and decided to take my children on a flight around Phillip Island. It was a great flight and a lasting memory for the kids as they’d never been on a helicopter before. We had a great time at Phillip Island but the helicopter ride was definately something we won’t forget.

Without doubt one of the best things I have done. The staff of Phillip Island Helicoptors went over and above for us, even taking pictures of the sights(as we left our camera behind) and emailed them to us a couple of days later. The day I went on the flight was overcast and I wasnt sure if the view would be any good - but it was still great - The pilot explained lots of the area and helped us to get some great photos. Well worth going on, I would recommend it to anyone.

Steve flew my husband and I and two children from Melbourne to Phillip Island where he organised a great tour of the G.P Track and facilities .We were on limited time as we had to get back to Melbourne that evening but it all ran like clockwork and we got to view the penguins all in one afternoon . The kids have’nt stopped talking about the helicopter flight it was great fun .

my girlfriend and I were in Austrailain sept of 2007. Steve pick us up at the airport and took us to Phillips inland, on the way he give us a tour and pointed out many things to us that was great.

Steve also drove us to Glen Isla House,were we stayed. ( great place to stay).

I have used Stephen and his crew twice now to get to and from Phillip Island for motorcycle events. He has been fantastic. For the MotoGp last year one of the helicopters didn’t show but he managed to get us a replacement ride which landed us right at the Qantas terminal at Tullamarine so we wouldn’t miss our flight; unbelievable service in this day and age!

I contact Phillip Island Helicopters as I and 2 friends wished to fly into the race circuit for the MotoGP in 2007. Their organisation and friendly attitude was spot on. Everything went smoothly both with the arrival and departure, the views of the island were spectacular and the cost was very reasonable. All 3 of us loved the experience and would definitely fly with PIH again. Good job chaps!

My brother and I bought a helicopter flight for my Mums 70th birthday last year and all went on a flight from Phillip Island to Wonthaggi (flying over her house) and back. It was an awesome experience! Mum was delighted and we all had a great time. The costs were reasonable and Stephen, Damien and team made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend the adventure!

This helicopter ride was a once in a lifetime experience!!! It is something i would recommend to anyone and everyone! We went for my boyfriends birthday and it was a gift to him that i got to enjoy awell! The views were beautiful and our driver just made the whole experience all that uch better! He was very friendly and welcoming and talked us through the entire journey! At first it was a little scary going up but once you get used to it, it is the best ride ever! This is certainly something everyone should get a chance to enjoy.

I have twice taken my children on flights with Phillip Island Helicopters and cannot say enough about the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. My youngest two, both of whom were quite scared before they boarded the chopper, were reassured by the Pilot and were very relaxed by takeoff, Now they’re constantly on my back to take them again!
The visibility from their aircraft is sensational and the Island’sSouthern Coastline, wild and rugged, is given a whole new perspective from the air. Without doubt the best Tourism investment I’ve ever made in Victoria and without doubt the kids and I will be going up again. And again!

FANTASTIC!!!
I have been on 3 flights with Phillip Island helicopters now and have also taken some relatives from overseas who absolutely loved it! It also makes a fantastic gift which I have given to my mum for mothers (she has now been again since she thought it was that good) my cousin and also my brother for his birthday (he is a photography and thought it was unbelievable). The crew is awesome and they all have a great sense of humour! I cant recommend them enough!!!

I just want to pass on a big thanks to everyone at Philip island Helicopters . The attention to detail was very impressive. This professional operation provided our family with a safe and informative flight to take in the sights that this beautiful part of Australia has to offer. People can be a little aprehensive the first time that they fly in a helicopter, all pre flight jitters dissapeared after the helicopter lifted off. Something that I would recommend to everyone.

Very proffesional, i took my girlfriend for a flight around the island and then they dropped us off for dinner on the fabulous Silverwater Resort in San Remo, then picked us up later in the helicopter.

The service was fantastic, couldn’t ask for anything more.

100% i will use them again for any other special event.

I January 08, I organized a Boys’ Brigade youth camp at Phillip Island. We had around 150 boys (1/3) of the camp take Joy flights with Phillip Island Helicopters.

Planing for this activity months before I found the staff extremely friendly and very approachable. During the activity, the staff took time in giving us a hands on talk with the helicopters willing the answer all our questions.

On the flight, the pilots were friendly and talked about all aspects of flight.

A Helicopter flight is something that you cannot put into words. It is, quite literally, a seat of your pants experience and only through the sheer exhileration of virtical flight do you begin to understand that a whole other dimension exists, a dimension that seems to open a door to the world you never knew existed.
I would say, without hesitation, anyone who experiences a helicopter flight will rate it in the top 5 things they’ve ever done. Enjoy the drive to Phillip Island by all means, but in terms of seeing the sights when you get there, park the car and take the helicopter ride. We did, and we’re still talking about it.

I voted for this because I have been an RACV member for that many years, I can’t remember how many just now, and the spectacular deals that RACV offer their members for holidays, short breaks, and flights etc are more spectacular than the trip itself!1 the costs are quite reasonable and so much fun and enjoyable and relaxing. My partner and i have been on the hot air balloons and cant wait to do it again and again and are thinking of buying our daughter and son a balloon ride each as well, we choose this flight as it is something my sick partner has always wanted to do but, just haven’t gotton around to it, my partner would dearly love to do the flight over the Great Ocean Road as she has never been even on the Great Ocean Road let alone over it, and the luncheon at the wineries would make her entire year!!
