Riding one of the world’s best race circuits without speed limits and in safe conditions is a thrill not to be forgotten.

I have been involved in several schools and ride days on the Phillip Island track with the team of Steve Brouggy and I would recommend it to anyone. I have been riding for nearly 20 years and I was, like everyone, under the impression that I was a good rider. I had never had an accident. After doing several levels with the school at the Island my riding has improved enormously and is getting better all the time. I ride safer on the road and read the roads a lot better than I ever did. Anyone that rides motorbikes in this day and age should do it because to improve your riding and abilities will ensure that you are safer on our busy roads.

Phillip Island is a world class track and doing a ride day with the Calafornian Superbike School is a fantastic way to feel like a Moto GP superstar for a day.

Widely viewed as the best circuit in the world, Phillip Island circuit perfectly combines beauty and speed.
It takes balls of steel to compete a lap at competitive speed but even lesser mortals can thoroughly enjoy themselves as they explore their own limits of skill and daring.
I say their own limits, as modern day machines are built with so much engineering and skill, they (the bike) can cope with much more than most riders can throw at them.
Suzuki’s GSXR600 motorcycles (available for hire) are a perfect example of this. A highly capable bike, possessing a confidence inspiring natural stability which is the perfect platform for both experienced and novice riders alike, to experience the ‘Mecca’ that is the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
