Enjoy the freedom of sunning and swimming clothes-free at Victoria’s premier nude beach.
Located near Torquay, this wide, open Ocean beach is backed by an ecologically significant dune system that has seen thousands of years of Koori occupation.

This beach has everything to top off a nice summer day.
Fantastic location, short walk to the beach from the car park, and really nice people.
Its great for surfing (surfies) or just relaxing and getting your tan up.
Lets keep Pt Impossible a responsible beach and clean beach, so we can welcome more people to this beautiful part of Victoria.

I love Point Impossible beach as I hate to wear bathers while swimming and I love the sun and breezes on the skin. Point Impossible certainly is one of the best CO beaches, good parking, short walk and usually plenty of space.

Fantastic for nudists to have their own nice beaches that they can enjoy while leaving all the other beaches for the rest of us to enjoy. Personally I would rather eat my own feet than go anywhere near a nude beach but hey, live and let live. If you guys enjoy it the I say good on ya! Just stay on it and away from where I hang out and we will all be happy.

POINT IMPOSSIBLE IS IMPROVING OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF SEASONS,
WITH THE THRET OF IT CLOSING DOWN IT’S BOUGHT MORE PEOPLE OUT
WITH BIGGER CROWDS, BUT STILL WOULD LIKE TO SEE MANY MORE
PEOPLE USE THE BEACH, IF YOU COULD GET AS GOOD A CROWD AS SAY
JAN JUC & GET THE BEACH PATROLLED IT WOULD BE GOOD. I HAVE BEEN
USING THIS BEACH SINCE ABOUT 1983-84, HAVE USED THE OTHER TWO
NUDE BEACHES (POINT ADDIS & SOUTHSIDE BEACH) MORE OFTEN OVER
    THE YEARS.

The only place to be in summer is at the beach at one with the sun, sand and surf. Its actually a toss up between Pt Impossible and Pt Addis as to my favourite beach but Australia Day at Pt Impossible is as aussie as you can get!

We have been regular & frequent visitors to this magnificent, clean, wide, safe surf beach for many years. There are many other regulars and we have made some great friendships there. Ease of access, a toilet block in the carpark, rubbish bins etc are bonuses not usual for “nudist” beaches. Great to see increased numbers of couples & families get their gear off & enjoy our beach over the last couple of seasons.

I was introduced to Pt Impossible a couple of years ago, on Australia Day weeked. I had a great time and thought that the beach was one of the best for CO activities. I have frequented here several times and enjoy the long walks and people you meet. For the last two years I have enjoined a dedicated group who help with the cleanup on Clean Up Australia Days.
Would love to see many more people enjoy this beach and hope that in the summer months that there might be more beach activities like cricket, volley ball, races, kids (and adult) body painting etc, etc.

    Hi,
Point Impossible beach is such a beautiful beach. It is clean and a great place for families and friends to catch up over Summer.
I wish Melbourne had longer warmer days, ahhhh i love daylight savings.
Even though i live near Sunnyside North beach i will still take the long drive to get to Point Impossible.

I have been going to Point Impossible for over 35 years. It has a spacious beach, which is kept clean, and the people that go there are very friendly and welcome visitors.

one of australia’s finest clothing optional beaches, in my opinion, only exceeded by alexandria bay in queensland, and as everyone knows, queensland is the sunshine state with no legal nude beaches. i shudder to think how much money the sunshine/smart state loses in tourist dollars as a result of this antiquated policy

it’s a great place, it is easy to get to, clean, it has friendly families and people of all ages, swimming without togs makes so much more sense, go on, give it a try.
The more people use the beach for simple, honest enjoyment of beach and surf the more likely we can deter the unfortunate sad element who inappropriately and illegally haunt the adjacent dunes for what they think are “pleasures” - how sadly misled they are.

Probably one of the best nude beaches in Australia, with good quality surf. The beach is well cared for and is usually very very clean. You’re on holiday - try something new!

The reason for my vote, because this is one of the better clothing optional beaches in Victoria, easy access and the local council are active in deterring the unwanted, in all a great place to get an all over tan.
