Just the best market set up there is. From finding the greatest food, to the must have artwork for the home or garden. There’s too much to see and do in one morning. To not have been there at least once is a real pity. Been there twice now and will go again as often as I can, coming from Macclesfield in South Aust

Who needs shopping centres when you can get outside and breathe the fresh air at this unique outdoor shopping location. I love it and so do my taste buds !! Hubby and the kids love it too.

The Redhillmarket offers a range of great shopping and is a must in December to get some wonderful gifts for friends and family. Get up early to avoid the crowds and get the best fresh produce, especially fun with a bunch of girlfriends!

I love leaving the city and heading out to Red Hill for the monthly market. We have a bit of a ritual buying choc licorice (yumm), wood fire pizza for lunch, the kids do a painting, if we need a pressie for anyone there are heaps of options. I love the kids pjs from Catnaps it is the only market you can get them from, great price and quality. Not far from Melb either!

The first time I went to Red Hill Market was over 30years ago and I went again recently and it’s still the best market ever, always something new and different to see and experience. The last 2 times I’ve been on a Ferry from Phillip Island and then bussed from Stony Point to the market… great way to go as there are no traffic snarls to deal with as the bus parks directly in the Showgrounds.

This is a must to do in Melbourne, the atmosphere is fantastic along with the great fresh food available to enjoy. The crafts are of good quality and you will always find something for the ‘hard to buy’ for relatives and friends.

Traditional country craft market. Wonderful atmosphere. “Grazing” all the food stalls and purchasing goods from the actual makers of the products (not the Importers!!)

Come at 7am or 8am till 1pm,rain hail and shine and you will find ithe market buzzing with ambience and energy as friendly stall holders set up for trade. You would be hard pressed not to find something here from all kinds of foods and you can taste it too, to stunningly different soaps, jewellery, a signwriter, furniture makers of all types to confectionary to an animal farm to a face painter to different entertainment, then you will find water colourists, canvas painters, creepy crawlies framed to plants, ice creams, lotions, clothing and hand bags and more- All hand made by the Artist, and with a difference. A great day out. You might even meet or bump into the ”Rich and Famous” too. The trip is great and there are stunning views to be had along the way. If you havent ventured to the Red Hill Market, then jot the dates on your calender and take a day visit, you, your family and friends will have a great day out and come home raving about the Red Hill Market and your bargains. It provides quality home made items. My husband has been making furniture from East Gippsland timbers for 20 years. His main outlet is Red Hill and Mornington Markets. It has been so successful. The comraderie and friendliness of the stall holders makes it an absolute pleasure and this translates to the customers. Many of our customers love the personal aspect of the furniture in a market atmosphere. The markets are reknown for quality wares and people know they can rely on the product and the producer.
