Renee and Dave’s Vineyard and restaurant is a must to visit if you are in the Pyrenees Region of Central Victoria
Renee’s cooking skills are a delight . You must try her home baked bread and pizza’s and their many wine varieties. They are sensational !
The B &B is set in a private location with a great view of the vineyard
I recommend a stay overnight to enjoy the delights of their hospitality and to explore the Amherst Region which has historical sites from the Gold Rush in the 1850’s

When the hosts are so gracious and considerate, there is no way this restaurant, winery, and B&B can be anything less than superb! Renee and Dave have blended the best of two worlds and have come away winners, both personally and professionally! Gourmet meals, fine wine, great beer, and comfortable accommodations abound! Don’t miss it!

With Daves laconic humour and Rene’s great South American style kitchen masterpieces, they are the ideal hosts for a wonderful lay back stay in the country. Daves beer is an extra treat and if you want an evening of magic just get him under a clear night sky and he will give you a tour of the milky way. Also dont get him started on Koalas. Is there nothing he doesnt know. By the way dont be fooled by Rene’s American accent , she’s all Ausie. A great couple and a great place.

A great selection of wines made at the winery, wonderful accomodation and gourmet food. We felt very pampered when we stayed there.

Was one of my most memorable experiences while visiting Australia. Fresh herbs picked moments before added to my scrumptious breakfast, going on a personal wallaby search with Renee, tasting the latest wine in process with Dave(and imbibing of his other hobby-some really great home brewed beer!), walking down the gorgeous long drive with towering Eucalyptus trees transport you to a whole new level of tranquility. The accommodations are charming and personal and you can’t help but sadly hug your hosts (and newfound friends!) goodbye as you leave.

Romantic Vineyard is a beautiful and peaceful place with generous, caring hospitality and delicious food. The owners are truly gourmet aficianados and have such a passion for the right wine to go with their fabulous meals. Such a fabulous place to spend time! Renee and Dave go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and share their love of the place, pampering you and offering scrumptious meals.

The quality of the food and wine that this place has, the personal and warm attention of the people, made the food one of the best expiriences in my life…

Hi Glad to see Romantic Vineyard on the list, but it is in Amherst NOT Amhurst. Can you change it? Thanks

Great food, great wine and great company. What more can you ask for? The owners of this B&B/resturant/winery/boutique brewery are GREAT. A nicer couple you will never meet.

What a haven from the humdrum of city life, excellent hosts, good food and wine. Healthy out door activities like bird watching hiking bike riding and generally just breathing the air.
