Sandy Point is renowned as a hot spot for windsurfers and is home of the current world speed record made by a sailing craft. The sheltered waters of nearby Shallow Inlet provide a secluded and peaceful setting for a wide range of water-based activities. Also known for windsurfing, launching a boat off the beach or throwing in a line, Shallow Inlet is an ideal spot for those with young children.

You will not find a better beach Worldwide! Safe for kids, pristine in Summer and a place to escape the rat race in Winter! Paradise…

I have been to many beaches around Australia but I still call Sandy Point, Shallow Inlet, Waratah Bay and Walkerville home! All of these beautiful beaches overlook Wilsons Promontory National Park. Go for a surf, swim, fish, walk or just relax on the beach. Dine out at the cafes, cook up a storm on the barbie or bring a picnic. Stay in a luxury beach house or a beach shack, B&B, unit or camp with family, friends or by yourself - the choice is yours. Visit Sandy Point.
