Informative, educational tour presented by a great tour guide who knew her subject inside out. A credit to her short time at Seppelt’s. Great for photography with the chance to catch the odd “orb” or two. Thoroughly recommended.

A fantastic tour made more enjoyable by the ‘tipple’ afterwards. A work of art by the miners of yesteryear

Well worth it just for the great stories from Seppelt’s long history. The hosts gave
warm and friendly service. They were keen with pride to get us tasting the wine, and it
was understandable. A good choice of wines to taste, and the BBQ facilities worked a treat for lunch too. An adventure into the heart of wine making!

A fascinating underground tour and an interesting history of the winery. A big shame if the new owners stop using these heritage cellars. The wines were great.

Seppelt Great Western has history, tradition and is a totally unique experience - not only do experience the wonders of the underground drives, the shaft house and the tasting room are an experience in themselves.

Staff are knowledgable, friendly and cater really weel for your wine experience needs. The introduction of light food and platters have added another dimention to the visit and you can stay longer.

The newly introduced night tours, and the opening up to cater for weddings and functions is a most appealing attraction to visit with family, friends and importantly wine lovers who want a totol winery experience.

My home town. Several visits to the ‘drives’ and then sampling the bubbles was a highlight. A wine enthusiast’s dream as this area was crucial in the development of the Australian Wine Industry.
