There are lots of great views, lots of history and fantastic camping. You can get away from it all and still be close to home.

How to get away from the everyday hum drum and enjoy Australian Bushland as it should be. So much to do - that is if you want to do it…or just relax and take in the different views.

Just loved the bush, driving up and around the mountains. Kept thinking how it would have been for the pioneers of our country and compared it to our wonderful experience with so many things to do. Fantastic accomodation with wineries, cycling ,flying, skiing, fishing, just so many things at our fingertips.
Was also nice to see so much of the bush as it was and how well it is managed.
It is a great place for a days outing or as long as one could get of it.

The tranquility of the great Australian bush calls me.
The sense of history in this area abounds and they are wise enough to not have neglected the pristine resource they have.
I love it. It is a truly great escape from everyday

The Alpine Walking Track is one of Victoria’s hidden secrets. The fact that you have to walk (and work) fairly hard in sections is more than rewarded by spectacular views of remote mountain, wildflower displays and rustic old cattlemen huts along the way.

Instead of hanging around the street and the city, as a young fella, spending time up in the Victorian High Country is the BEST thing you can possible do, weather its during the warm weather and the wildlife or skiing in the winter, the High Country is a place that MUST be visited, the views that you get on some of the highest mountains are nearly Life Forfilling

Bright in summer
Walking along the Ovens River Trail or playing golf at the very picturesque Bright Golf course, a drive to Mt. Buffalo or the high country is a most relaxing way to spend time at Bright during summer . Also a visit to Milawa Gourmet region is a must whilst in the area.
