North from Ouyen approx 35klm, watch for track to enter park to west, follow trail for 2klm to a track acroos the trail, park.
Take walking track north or south for 1klm, find shady spot sit quitely 5 meters off either side of the track and listen to “real remote bush sounds” spread a handful of corn or wheat grains (edge of track) whilst waiting patiently for a very rare Mallee Fowl to pass within meters of your spot. Now you’ve seen a unique Australian that only a handful of others have experienced.

Feeding wildlife in National Parks should not be encouraged. It disrupts the natural feeding patterns of the animals there. It’s easy enough to see a Mallee Fowl just by waiting quietly not too close to his mound - no feeding required.
