A delightful bush walk along the many trails of this natural reserve is a must do for those who love Australian native bush plants and birds. Although the reserve is nestled in suburbia, it feels as though you could be away in the country, hundreds of miles from habitation.

Sweetwater Creek Reserve is wonderful natural bush to be enjoyed by young and old, with various walks including a boardwalk and several bridges, one of them being a swing bridge. Enjoy the wildlife including kookaburras and native birds, especially beautiful after rain when the creek flows rapidly creating mini waterfalls.
As a child the sweetwater creek reserve was our own private scout area, wether it was fishing for eels, catching terrapins or just hiding in our underground cubbies many a school night and weekend was spent there. As an adult visiting the area some 30 years on i have to commend all the work that has been done to make this beautiful hide away very accessible for all to see.
