    Rutherglen Winery Walkabout
Queens Birthday long weekend every year, visit 20+ wineries with coach transfers half-hourly from the centre of Rutherglen to each of the involved wineries. Food, entertainment, markets and of course wine in abundance.

Wounderful place to visit, people are very friendly. Good variety of eating houses and a terrific Art Gallary and Information Centre at the Rutherglen Wine Experience.

    Rutherglen Winery walkabout
Held on the long weekend in June, with festivities such as markets, bands and food at around 20 wineries in and around the famous Rutherglen winery.
$20 for a walkabout passport which you receive a passport to be stamped at each winery you go to with chances to win wine packages, also receive a emblemned wine glass and glass holder to use throughout the weekend.
A must do for any wine lover… sooo much fun.

We’ve visited the March long weekend food and wine festival over many years and just love the event, the accessibility of the winemakers and the lovely country places to stay.
