Logans Beach is an inspiring and invigorating spot all year round, the whlaes are just an added bonus, however when they are actually performing it is a sight not to be missed. The sheer size of their bodies leaping out of the water is awesome, some times I have stood mesmirized, completly unaware iof the time. There is some excellent accomodation close by which is perfect for having many opportunities to pop up and see what the whales are up to.

Open ocean, wind in your hair. Breathtaking to see such an amazing animal before your eyes!! I hope
the drilling for gas hasn’t destroyed this wonderful whale nursery.

The whole town of Warrnambool is a great place to visit - and filled with things for visitors to do. But the whale watching is a simply magnificent experience. And the beaches alone are simply stunning. What better place to watch a beautiful animal than in a beautiful place.

We have lived in warrnambool for 7 years and have seen many whales and impressed our visitors with the display. We have seen them not only at Logans Beach but also right in front of the surf club and at the breakwater. The whale viewing platform is also linked to a fantastic walking/cycling path with sensational views of the ocean.

We hope this large female is pregnant and will soon have a baby whales learning how to survive in our bay.

Whale watching at Warrnambool. Terrific spot. Excellent viewing from the platform at Logans Beach, or wonder down to the beach. You may be in for a long wait, but it’s well worth it when you see the whales breaching. The whole platform just errupts with “oohs and aahhs. ” Lots of fun. Other great things to do in Warrnambool too.

Whale watching is an awesome experience between May to October at Warrnambool’s Logan’s Beach Whale Watching platform. No need for a boat, enjoy the spectacular view from the shore. Rug up and be part of nature at its best.

Logans Beach Warrnamboo is a beautiful spot even without the whales so we took a stroll along the beach. we have been there about 6 times and seen whales in the breakers twice which was amazing.

So amazing to watch these giants of the ocean playing and flying out of the water and crashing back in again. They seem weightless. Such a refreshing and relaxing place to be - watching the endless ocean and the waves rolling in as we wait for the whales to surface. I always feel better for being there and go away feeling wonderful.
