Fantastic Weekend of Country Music and Fun . People are able to meet and hear some of Australia’s best country Music performers and entertainers in a great family atmosphere , there is something for everyone and it is only a short drive from Melbourne and nearby country towns . The Victorian Country Music awards night held on the Friday night is fantastic , where many of the performers sing and performs their songs in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and many of us country music fans can meet and say hello to the stars . Personally I never miss and I am booked in again next year , can’t wait .
A fantastic weekend for all the family, great shows, great talent, great people. If you want to experience a country festival this is definitely the one to go to and to far out from the CBD.

I consider the Whittlesea Country Music Festival is the best run festival and most entertaining function with great music. The musicians are of the highest standard. We enjoy this function every year.
Have been to this festival three times and the Friday night Awards night is the best country Music show I have ever been to.To meet the Stars and talk to them is great.
The Whittlesea Country Music Festival provides a great weekend of entertainment for all age levels. It is growing in stature each year attracting many interstate visitors as well as locals and has become a major event for Victoria. The weekend commences on Friday with the presentations of The Victorian & National Country Music Awards in the form of a dinner dance, Saturday starts with a street party including buskers, talent search and open air concert, Sunday also has an open air concert including a truck and ute show, bush poets breakfast and local produce stalls. The camping at the concert site adds to the atmosphere and popularity of this festival. It is a great weekend for the family to enjoy.
Of all the festivals country music Whittlesea is the only one where you can be with the artist. From the friday night awards dinner, where you can be on the same table as the musicians or just get a photo with them or an autograph.. To camping at the show grounds in the heart of Whittlesea. A non stop event from Thursday night til the sunday arvo. Yeah ha i’ll be back in 2009 in my boots and hat. See you there.
The Whittelsea Country Music Festival is really well run, featrues excellent country music artists and is rgeat value for money. The truck and ute show add to the entertainment which just rolls along continuosly throughout the weekend.
A high tribute to the many volunteers that work for the benedfit of the township through the weekend.
I have voted for Whittlesea Country Music Festival because it has a great atmosphere
About a dozen of us go each year and camp over the 3 days (come up Friday and leave Sunday), some leave on the Monday
On the Saturday they have the main street closed and have all different types of stalls to look at as well as music and food and drink
Saturday night they have music at the football ground which goes until about midnight
Then on Sunday morning through till about 5pm they have some different artists appearing, plus the truck and ute show are excellent
Thanking you in anticipation
Pam
