a-line holiday village

This park is set in beautiful native surrounds and is family owned. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean and caters for tents, caravans and has self contained units and cabins. It ’s spacious surrounds make it a lovely, relaxing place to stay. It is on the Melbourne side of Bendigo. Nearby are Crusoe Reservoir and No & Reservoir which have recently been developed with approx 7.5km tracks where you will see kangaroos, etc. A shopping centre is only a couple of kms away for supplies.

This is one of the best parks in Australia to stay in and also the best value caravan park we have seen in a long. time. The grounds are immaculate, the ensuite is wonderful and very clean and tidy and the owners make you feel welcome and are very helpful. We love the wonderful bush setting and even though it is close to Bendigo it is very relasing with very little noise from the highway. We highly recommend this park to anyone going to Bendigo for a holiday. We are trying to find an excuse to go back there.

Very obliging staff – the cleanliness and presentation of the unit was exceptional, and the grounds very well maintained with obvious personal care. Quiet and peaceful. The house, with 3 double/twin bedrooms is exceptional value for a group.

My 2 boys and I have been travelling to differnet parts of Victoria and this is by far the best, cleanest, well maintained cabin we have stayed in. The boys even mead me take a photo of them sitting in front of the “TeePee” to send to their dad.
They loved the upstairs room. Great place to stay.

We have been travelling around for a long time and we rate caravan parks visited from 1-10, and this one is definitely a 10. It is the best value for money we have encoutered, with a beautiful en suite, immaculate grounds and friendly hosts. Will recommend it to everyone heading their way.

Quiet, clean and very friendly. I expected a lower standard for the quoted price and was pleasantly surprised. I recommend A-line over any motel room.

We just spent a lovely 4 days at this beautiful, quiet and pretty location and we found it completely by accident at the last minute but we will most definately stay here again. We stayed in a 3 bedroom log cabin which has been recently refurbished. The owners are very pleasant, helpful people who keep the park in immaculate condition. It has a lovely open, spacious feel to it with an inground pool, childrens play area and communal BBQ. I dont want to talk up the 3 bedroom log cabin too much in case it becomes too popular and we cant book it again!! Bendigo and its surrounds have a lot to offer and A-Line Holiday Village is a great place to base yourself at and discover this wonderful part of Victoria.

Staying at the A-Line was like being at home away from home. Our two kids LOVED sleeping upstairs. It was like a friendly adventure. The cabin was very comfortable and quiet. I was a little concerned that there would be more noise from the main road, but we didn’t have one disturbance of sleep the whole time we were there. We certainly recommend the A-Line as a top place to stay.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. Comfortable bed and sofa. Large fridge and plenty of room space and up to date flat screen TV . Had stayed previously and that was the reason for our recent stay as we were impressed with the ensuite cabin and the reasonable rate for being self contained. Lovely setting and friendly staff. Could not wish form any more. Will be back next time we venture to Bendigo. Thank you

My wife and I stayed in a self contained cabins. We were extremely happy with the pristine condition of the cabin and surrounds; the unit contained more home comforts than we actually needed; was close to shops; quiet even though it was close to a major road and the staff were very friendly. I have already recommended it to friends and will stay there when we go through Bendigo again.

Beautiful setting amongst the trees, lovely landscaped native gardens. Little highway noise if any. Drive through ensuite site which made life easy for arriving in the rain! Well appointed bathroom. This park is at the top of the list of the 40 or so parks we have stayed in over the last 3 1/2 months. well done and we will certainly recommend as excellent value for money and comfort. The cabin our daughter rented was of extremely high quality and again excellent value.

In the week leading up to the terrible Victorian Bushfires in February 2009, when the temperature was near 40 degrees, we discovered ALINE Holiday Village. We booked in for two nights and extended it to a week! The van sites are large and each has it’s own en suite. With it’s beautiful grassed areas, attractive gardens and lovely pool, it was like an oasis in the midst of the heat and drought. We were able to have a family gathering in the lovely B B Q area .The park is beautifully maintained, and with the reasonable prices, and discount if you are a member of Oz Parks, it is certainly a very welcoming place to stay. We have told all our vanning friends and those we have met in our travels, and will look forward to staying there again soon.

A great caravan park / holiday village with excellent amenities and grounds. The caravan site we stayed on was level gravel area with a concrete pad that made an excellent patio with a path leading to our private ensuite at the rear of the area. The site easily accomodated our 8mtr Motorhome and there was also plenty of room for our 4WD which we used to explore the Bendigio city area (about 10 minutes drive away), and also the local gold fields that abound in the district. We would certainly stay again when in the area.

We’ve stayed at A-line for a number of years, and while the service has always been of a consistent high standard, it’s been interesting to see how the owners keep finding ways to make small improvements here and there. Our first experience with A-line was fine, and we keep going back (not as often as we would like!) because they still give value for money and we know what we’ll get.

An enjoyable time was spent by my wife and self. We do travel more than some I guess, and I don’t mind giving this place a good wrap as an excellent value place to rest up, or to head off from when looking around this beautiful and historic part of Victoria.

A very friendly family run Holiday village, just 10 mins. south of Bendigo at Kangaroo Flat. There are really modern clean ensuites to all caravan sites, and lovely A-Line cabins that sleep five comfortably with all mod.cons. The fully enclosed camp kitchen for campers is great. The Park is set up in lovely native gardens, has lots of birdlife and has spotless B.B.Q’s and a swimming pool, and open spaces for children to play. There is a shopping centre just an easy 25 min walk, or 2 min. drive. A really great place to have a relaxing holiday with heaps to see in the surrounding areas.

We really enjoyed our stay at this park. The surrounding bushland remindered us of our previouse home in Queensland, and the birds were a welcome sight to see in the morning while having our coffee outside on the decking. The management were very friendly and full of information and nothing was a trouble to them. I would recommend the park for a short or long stay, just far enough out the township for the peace and quite.

This holiday park at Kangaroo Flat, 10 mins by car south of Bendigo and a 20 min walk to a a shopping centre, is really wonderful. The caravan sites all have ensuites, which are very modern and spotless. The Camp kiichen is fully enclosed and fitted out with modern appliances, and the surrounding gardens are a picture, with lots of play areas for children, and also a swimming pool. The B.B.Q’s are kept spotless. The A-Line Cabins which sleep 5 are lovely. It is also very reasonably priced.

Best place for families, really welcoming hospitality typical of country . Far enough out of town to be peaceful – close enough to accessible.

An awsome place to stay. Great enviroment for families and kids. Owners make you feel welcome and are there to help. On the Melbourne side of town makes it easy to get there and still close enough to the middle of town.

Great spot for a family holiday, caters for young children, easy access from Melbourne and into Bgo, has all the amenities, is good value and will certainly be top of mind for a return visit when holidaying in the area again.

My family used the A-line holiday accommodation during the weekend of my birthday, as they travelled from out of town & interstate. I got great feedback about the lovely bush-like setting, that everything was clean and spot-on and how the hosts were really friendly and welcoming. I would recommend the A-line to anyone and as a Bendigo resident it made me feel proud to receive this information.

i was very impressed by the unique style of the accomodation. the A frame style houses are a great draw card and add alot of character to the park. my children loved these houses and want to keep coming back. the availability of the bush lands make it great for walk and site seeing.

Great location, as you enter Kangaroo Flat, from Melbourne, on the Calder Highway…. Pleasent surroundings, clean & very tidy, little to no road noise from the highway. Numerous shopping facilities within 5 klm, and only 10 klm from Bendigo Central….. Very Highly Recommended.
