We ere delighted with our two night stay, with gourmet meals, especially the twice bakedcheese souffle.
The bed was most comfortable,the pillows so soft,bringing quick dreams.
Close to the quant villageof Lock, a collectable and quilters paradice !!
As two people who prefer to stay in B&B’s for friendly ,good value, of superior quality , we become quite critical people, as to what is offered and were pleasantly surprised, when acting on a friends advice, to stay at Bellview Hill where we encountered a modern purpose built facility hosted by Angela and Robert. Located on top of a hill with panoramic views looking across the the property and down the valley towards the sea. You can hear the silence.
The accomodation is the best with the softest bed and pillows we have ever slept on,with great en suite attractions, The meals are out of this world reflecting Angela’s great cooking skills, when nothing is too much trouble to produce.This is the only B&B that we have returned a second time,bringing friends to also enjoy

I was fortunate to spent the weekend @ Bellview Hill whilst attending quilting classes in Loch. I was made to feel like one of the family. Rob & Amanda were the most perfect of hosts. I arrived late in the evening to a wonderful meal which had been specially prepared for me. The food was fantastic and the accommodation A1+. I can’t praise it enough.
My wife and I had a lovely stay in the cottage. What a beautiful position – we love the mountains and have fallen in love with even more with the Strzlecki Ranges. The accomodation is luxurious, Rob and Amanda great hosts, food magnificent – dare I say it we will be back!!
Bellview Hill B & B has one of the most outstanding vistas in Victoria. Luxuriuos accommodation-obviously purpose built- and pampered service made this the most exquisite country stay we have experienced in the state. Dinner is just fabulous, don’t miss out on it! All this and it’s an easy drive from Melbourne and close to Phillip Island.
Bellview Hill is situated in an idyllic setting perfect for a quiet relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The scenery over the beautiful Strzlecki Ranges is magnificent. Angela and Rob Morris are superb hosts and Angela’s cooking is to die for! The rooms are beautifully and tastefully appointed while at the same time cosy and comfortable.
We loved our weekend at Bellview Hill Bed and Breakfast….it is just a short drive from Melbourne, an easy one and a half hours from home in Camberwell…and is situated in the most delightful countryside, just near Loch in Gippsland.
Bellview Hill has beautiful views over the valley and out towards Mt Baw Baw and the ranges….sitting either on the terrace or balcony it is so peaceful and relaxing with a glass of wine and some of Angela’s home made tapenade and savoury cheese biscuits….everything she presents is made by her in her commercial kitchen. Angela is a qualified chef and so the food at Bellview Hill is delicious…we had her fabulous 3 or 4 course country style cooked breakfast with homemade bircher meuseli (or porridge, if you like it) and sets you off contented for the day.
After breakfast we took a walk to see the other farms nearby and then spent the rest of the day reading on the terrace. If it had been cold we could have read in front of the open fire in the sitting room.
In the evening we ate in house and enjoyed their wonderful three course dinner in the dining room looking out across the countryside. The dinner was fantastic – absolutely delicious. I loved her duck and the vanilla bavarois….
There is also lots to do around about. Next time we will take our golf clubs and play some golf at Kurrumburra where there is a nice course.
Our king sized room was really well appointed and extremely comfortable and bright with nice big windows again looking out at the views. Rob and Angela offer the best in food and hospitality; they are friendly, gracious and attentive hosts.
We are looking forward to going back soon, in fact while it is still cool so we can relax at the fireside after our golf.
Set in luscious, green, rolling hills this house and separate cottage provide splendid accommodation.Both are practically new and spotlessly clean. The hosts, Angela and Robert, are very welcoming and as Angela is a qualified chef I certainly recommend you take advantage of dining in at the homestead. If you want a relaxing break close to Melbourne I highly recommend Bellview Hill.
My partner and I had had been involved in a car accident earlier in the week but we still managed to get away to Bellview Hill. Angela and Rob couldn’t do enough for us but they still gave us our privacy. I highly recommend this place. Sitting out on the balcony having a glass of wine was a lovely way to recuperate. We also loved the bath robes.
This home is siuated in a most picturesque area , taking full advantage of it’s views over valleys & rolling hills.it is in an agricultural area where one can readily feel at one with nature. The working farms surround you & a brisk morning walk is a joy. Angela & Robert are excellent hosts & quickly make you feel very welcome. The amenities on offer are some of the best we have found & if you decide to take advantage of the meals offered you will be treated to an excellent standard of food ,prepared by Angela in her commercial kitchen. She is a qualified Chef. From here many day trips are available to local attractions. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bellview Hill for a very special holiday.

A beautiful purpose built B& B set on top of a hill with views over the valley. Close to a small village but far enough away to be quiet and isolated.Large luxurious, well appointed rooms and a separate cottage. Delicious gourmet meals cooked by Angela Morris, the hostess, a highly trained experienced chef.
Located just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne, Bellview Hill is a property amidst the rolling green hills near Loch in West Gippsland, owned and run by Angela and Rob Morris. We stayed in the newly built cottage. The highlights? Stunningly peaceful views over farmland and countryside, and Angela’s superb cooking, including a la carte dinner. Angela and Rob are warm and welcoming hosts, and pointed us in the direction of local wineries and markets. They even rescue guests who fall off their motorbike on the road in to the property and provide a walking stick (but that’s another story!)
Bellview Hill Bed & Breakfast is set on a hilltop location with magnificent views across the countryside to the north. The B & B is extremely comfortable with accommodation both in the main house and in a separate cottage, ideal for families. Hostess, Angela, is a fantastic cook and offers haute cuisine for guests who prefer to dine. For a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all stay there’s nowhere more ideal than Bellview Hill Bed & Breakfast and I give it my highest recommendation
We had a delightful stay at Bellview Hill .The accommodation was extremely comfortable and modern and the wonderful hosts Angela & Rob most welcoming. The scrumptious b’fast together with the “home made gluten free bread”is typical of the hospitality of Angela & Rob. It is certainly a B&B not to be missed.
Bellview Hill rests in serene undulations, with stunning views over the Gippsland hills. This ever so tranquil, placid nook with superb cuisine and delightful hosts deserves to be shared and appreciated but keep it secret. This rural estate with sparkling facilities could cause one to defer or even forget returning home.
