big4 anglesea

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Pete’s Place. Friends son’s wedding so all the family and friends all stayed at the same place. We had a lovely , brand new onsite cabin, which was more like a hotel room with the advantage of a courtyard and situated on beautiful grounds. Would recommed to anyone, and we are not campers by any stretch of the imagination

Loved our stay here. Very safe and secure place for the little ones. Great service. Excellent facilities. The children came back to eat and spent the rest of the time running from one recreational activity to the next. So clean and modern. On the colder days it was nice to by pass the beach and swim in the heated indoor pool. Loved the early morning visits from the Kangaroos. This will be placed on my favourites list. – Lesley

My husband and I stayed two nights in a Longboard Cabin. We were welcomed by very friendly and obliging staff. The cabin was very well presented and spotlessly clean. The king size bed was very comfortable (I have recommended a friend to ring and ask the brand name as they are about to purchase a new bed). A friend visited us on 2 occaissions and was welcomed to the park as we were. The fact that a staff member took the time to walk us to the cabin was just an added bonus. We couldn’t have expected more. Well done guys!

This is also a great place for adults travelling without children. Our cabin was very well appointed, immaculate and comfortable. You will love the quiet location off the highway but still close to everything. The ground coffee and real milk was a lovely treat after a long drive. Our time in Anglesea was unfortunately limited but the staff helped us with travel information. You really feel that nothing would be too much trouble. We look forward to another visit to Big 4 Anglesea.

It is close to everything, the beach, the river, the shops ,the golf course ,the bush, the pub. It’s facilities are fantastic for families. In fact you could stay there and have it all without going any where else. Family bathrooms. In season a mini cafe selling lovely coffee to enjoy right at the sandpit so you can watch the chn at the same time. Lovely staff. Good standards of behaviour expected.. troublesome behaviuor not tolerated.Lovely grounds.

We have travelled extensivley and haven’t found a place to meet the standard of Big 4 Anglesea.
The facilities are tops and the staff so welcoming and friendly.
Also a great golf course close by.

Stayed there last month in one of the ensuite cabins, staff couldn’t do enough for us and the amenities were to say the least comfortable and pleasureable. Beats being locked in a hotel room when you can mix and mingle with the other guests too.

My stay at Anglesea Big4 was VERY relaxing and enjoyable, mostly due to the fact that there was plenty for my 3 boys to do in a safe environment. The staff were helpful and the quality and cleanliness of the place was of a high standard. Good location too. We’ll be back there for sure and have recommended it to several friends.

Anglesea is my favourite get away spot in Victoria. I have stayed at many Parks both in Anglesea and along The Great Ocean Road but since going to Anglesea Big 4 the other parks do not measure up. The other park in Anglesea is over crowded, does not have the high level facilities and hospitality that you experience at Anglesea Big 4. Thank you Anglesea Big 4 for many enjoyable holidays and I am looking forward to many more in the future.

My family has had the pleasure of staying at big4 Anglesea several times, both during peak holiday periods and also during the quieter times. The standard of accommodation, service and amenities is always very high and can never be faulted. Our children love the jumping pillow, pool, tennis court, playground and games room and the adults appreciate the enormous outdoor kitchen and fabulously maintained grounds. The staff here have set a spectacular standard, one I have yet seen matched at any other park we have visited whilst traveling around Victoria. We hope to return very soon and have a wine on the balcony at dusk, enjoying the company of the visiting kangaroos.

What a super place to stay. I took my family and have never experienced such hospitality. John the “Silver Fox” is really friendly and is a big fan of the Cats which is great. There is a great community feel and it is such a relaxing environment.
    I say “enjoy!!”

I have stayed at this Park many times, both in our van and in the cabins and it always feels like home – a lovely atmosphere, terrific staff, nothing is too much trouble – they have consistently high standards and you just know you are going to have a good time. There are great facilities for the kids, they play all day – and even when we say we are going to the beach – they mostly want to stay in the Park!

Big 4 Anglesea is a great place to stay, and is very family-friendly. Personally, I found the grounds delightful and the accommodation really comfortable.
Friendly staff could not do enough to make tourists feel important and to answer questions. Anglesea is a great spot, made all the better by the approach taken at Big 4.

The best things about Big 4 Anglesea are, in no specific order, the great staff, friendly atmosphere, excellent facilities, genuine tourist service, clean, tidy grounds and activities, child-friendly arrangements, and a commitment to excellence in service. What a great place to stay!

We had a great stay here, it was to short a stay though. The heater in our room was broken so we were given a portable heater, which did the job but our son wouldnt stop playing with it, but that was our biggest problem which was really a small one. We were also a little surprised that there weren’t two or more bikes with baby seats on the back. We saw them all lined up and thought it would be a great idea to take the kids on a bike ride, but we needed two bikes. The staff were great, the facitlites were great and the whole place was clean and tidy. We would recomment this place to anyone and we are hopeing we can get back there one day. Kepp up the good work guy’s.

We have already booked for our third year in a row. We love the cabin as it is fuss free, no lugging caravans or setting up tent city. The cabins are cleaner than my own home, the bathroom facilities again are faultless. The playground, tennis court, indoor pool, and jumping pillow make it fun to stay around the park when we don’t want to have to go out every day. The best thing about it however is the quietness of the park. The children get exhausted so it’s reassuring to know that there is no real late night noise and no-one driving through dangerously. Gotta Love It!

The serenity of the place was perfect for us to relax, and the kangaroos wandering the grounds and Nemo to look at in the pool were very exciting for our young children. The perfect place to stay. That’s why we are going back!

We have been travelling Australia for about 10 months now and we have stayed in many van parks, Big 4 Angelsea was the first park we stayed in. We had a van site for a few weeks, the staff were fabulous, very accomodating. The park is very clean and tidy, staff are always out and about but not intrusive in any way. There are plenty of facilities available, the jumping pillow, heated indoor pool, tennis court, playground, indoor toddler room, tv and games room, immaculately clean camp kitchen and best of all a family bathroom – for a family with two young children this is extremely handy, all van parks should look into including one. We have recommended this park to many families we have come across. Great location, away from traffic noise, short walk to the town and beach.

A family friendly park, Stayed in our tent right opposite the kids playground which was perfect for our toddlers. The park was well suited for families and the kids had a ball in the playground, toddler room and the indoor pool. We were very impressed with the family bathroom and made it a lot easier when it came ot bath and shower time with the kids. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We reccommened to everyone who asks where a great family friendly caravan park is.

What a surprise. We stayed in a new cabin which was equal to a very good hotel. The room was extremely clean . The courtyard is a special touch. We were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful and had even warmed the room before our arrival. We were there with three other couples and we all agreed we would not hesitate to recommend the Big 4 to others, and we would certainly like to come back.
