We had a great stay last year when the lake was low on water. Boathaven will be an awesome place to stay when the lake fills. Just park your boat at the caravan park.
This place was awesome… I was in an unpowered camp site on two separate nights and it was picturesque. I LOVED IT

Our family has been coming to boathaven every easter for years now. The kids have a wonderful time and we enjoy the peace and quiet of a picturesque relaxing camping ground. The facilities are always clean and the tennis court , pool and spa are a hit! Please bring in 10000000 trillion litres of water so we can use our boat again!? We still keep coming as the camp sites are huge and allow for our teenage kids to tent away from us! (The further the better!) See ya next easter!

Our family stayed during the september school holidays even though the weather was not the best we found the park to be of very high standard always very clean the pool was something you would see in magazines it was lovely to go for walks , the staff were very nice and we would definitly recommend it and we would come back again.
A wonderful relaxing place to meet and stay with other families. The kids have a fantastic time and cannot wait for the annual Boathaven trip to come around. Looking forward to February.

We have been enjoying Boathaven for the last eight years. Kids love the pool, camp kitchen, movie nights and the open fires. Fabulous place and we return each year because we enjoy the place so much.
We had a most enjoyable stay at a ensuite site with our camper trailer off season. A quality park with more amenities than we would ever need and very relaxing place to spend a few days. Lots of interesting tows and places to visit in the area
My parents, my 2 girls and myself stayed for a weekend at the park as part of a family reunion and we all had a great time. The cabins are great, very clean and self sufficient. The kids had fun at the pool and the play area, and we all will be looking forward to next year. Keep up the good work.
Lovely outlook despite the drought conditions, exotic pool (an oasis of relief from the summer heat), comfortable well appointed cabin, very clean, pleasant and accommodating management – all this made for an enjoyable stopover.
Neat, tidy, very child friendly place to stay. Close enough to the boat ramp for those fish loving husbands that their wives don’t have to get up at 5am to drive them there!! Best pool we have seen at a park!

Located on the edge of Lake Hume, this caravan park is excellent. They have a pool to cool of in lots of bbqs to use, beutiful cabins and campsites and most important to me lots of playgrounds for the kids. This caravan park is well awy from busy roads and is a great place to either sit and relax or do day trips to beechworth or the snow.
It is the type of place you could revisit again and again, as we are doing, The ideal location to take the family on a holiday, where you can actually relax and enjoy yourself. Finally what you see on the internet is all that and more, especially the pool and other surrounding facilities,unlike some other places. A credit to Management and staff. See you all in December again.
Have stayed there a few times and have found it very comfortable, and lots of things to do. Whether it is as a group of adults or for a family holiday there is something for everyone to do. Having four children ages rangeing from 7 up to 16 everyone has a fantastic time. From playing tennis swimming or time in the spa and kids play ground. It is well shaded and having such a large area for the kids to ride bikes or go for walks. With Boathaven being on the edge of the Luke Hume there are wonderful views all around. It is also well situated away from town so you feel you away from the city hussel and bussel but also close enough if you want to dinner out for the evening. I would recommend Boathaven to anyone which I have done in the past.

A great place to stay with a beautiful pool and a great view over the lake, there is plenty for the kids to do as well, they were never bored staying here, if you want a holiday with the kids this is the place.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC CARAVAN PARK. THE GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND THE POOL AREA IS VERY RELAXING AND FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS FOR THE CHILDREN TO DO – MOVIES,TRAMPOLINES ANDTHE POOL. THEY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME.

We stayed in the poolside villas, which were like staying on an island in queensland. The kids just want to keep coming back. This is our fourth time. They covered every bit of detail, down to the green lawns, palm trees and resort style pool.

This was our first camping trip and Boathaven was sensational. Facilities for camping were excellent, very clean and all areas extremely well maintained. Even though the weather was not on our side, our 3 young boys “had the best holiday ever”, meeting lots of other kids and making friends. We will be back!! Thanks for a great place to stay.

Absoutely the best Park for families, the facilities are great and grounds immaculate. We have been going to Boathaven for about 7 years staying in a poolside cabin for a week over Christmas holiday period. Each year has been as good as the last, great memories for our children. We have also made some lovely friends over this period of time too. The kids just want to keep going back they love it.
It is a well run and incredibly well looked after caravan park. We and four other family spend 1 -2 weeks here each year and each year the park improves. It is located on the edge of lake Hume just outside of Wodonga and is 5 STAR PLUS
We love staying at Boathaven for the beautiful tropical pool, having fires at night around the camp site, the fantastic camp kitchen and the beautiful location. Theres plenty of space for the kids to run around and ride their bikes. The outdoor movies in the school holidays are great too
We had a great time – comfortable, clean, plenty of walks, interesting places not far away, photo opportunities galore, great facilities, lake was very low at our visit but very photogenic.
Good location – walks and short sidetrips great for photo shoots, and that’s not counting the wineries and fishing spots; friendly management and very clean and comfortable cabin accommodation – what else can one say about a holiday park?
The cabins were clean, modern and spacious. The facilities were fantastic, especially the resort style pool which was great for my little ones. I have four children with an age range of 9 to 2 and there was something for all of them. The location is great too, overlooking the lake and being only a short drive from Wodonga and Albury to fulfill my shopping needs. Overall a relaxing, great stay.

Boathaven is family friendly with a whole lot to offer. Beautiful pool and spa, great eating area with bbqs, washing machines,dryers. The kids can ride their bikes around the park, feed the animals. If you have a boat it is the perfect destination for you.

Great place to stay, has the feel of a resort in the south of France. Love the swimming pool area, good for kids and grown ups. Staff very friendly good to have the blend of owned and rented cabins and also caravan/camping.
Fantastic facilities. Impressive Camp Kitchen, well equiped and cleanliness that exceeds expectations. Great home base to visit some of the spectacular high country, also close enough to major shopping to satisfy the “Shop-a-holics”. Recommend a visit whether travelling alone or in a group.

Boat Haven Holiday Park is very nice with beautiful gardens and surrounds. The caravan sites are large with plenty of room for parking. We have now been to this park 4 times and are booked in for a 5th visit for this summer. The facilities are brilliant with the best camp kitchen we have seen and we have toured a lot of Australia. The pool is fantastic but most of all we found the staff terrific. Another great feature is the outdoor movie nights, our kids love this place and can’t wait to go back.
It has a great pool, lots of things to do with the kidslike a tennis court, trampoline and playground as well as playcentre. Facilities are clean and the Camp Kitchen is fabulous. The atmosphere is really relaxing. We go there every March Long weekend with about 6 other families and have a great time.
l take a group of fathers and there children here every year this caravan park would have to be the best we have stayed anywere pool staff cabins and location are vnumber 1

We love Boathaven – it’s our favourite spot for a relaxing holiday before a busy Christmas. I have spent many times drawing and painting the hills around Lake Hume from the comfy lounges by the sparkling pool. A great place to relax.

Stayed in a Cabin and the Children had a wonderful time. We took our boat out on Lake Hume and it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Went swimming in the pool early every morning and evening ,which is set in a lovely stress free setting. The children enjoyed the open Air Cinema that was available to them. Would not hesitate to return as it still is one of our favourite family places to stay. Owners were very accommodating and friendly.
We had a great time…we sat around the beautiful pool while being able to look out towards the lake, plenty for the kids to do, we played tennis, went for bike rides down towards the lake and explored the park. Put the boat in the lake and went for a kneeboard and boys went for a fish. My little girl loved the inground trampoline (she still talks about it) We had a fantastic family holiday and would recommend it to any family.
Loved it so much the first time….I booked in again before I left. I found not being right in the heart of a city I was able to enjoy the holiday with my children, as Boathaven is a very well set out resort that we didn’t feel the need to go into town. We found it a very neat and tidy holiday venue, staff very friendly and approachable. First time in a long time I found a place to sit back and relax, while the children had plenty to do…..thanks to you, Boathaven Resort.

In my early 20′s, we drove from sunny Melbourne each Christmas to enjoy our summer holidays water skiing on the Hume! I have many happy memories of those days.
I’m now in my late 30′s and I recently returned to the park for a holiday. I was amazed how the park has evolved over the years and in particular, how pristine the park is kept. The Entertaining area is fantastic and the play centre was excellent. The toliet block was very clean and to me – that is very important!

My husband and 3 children have been going back to Boathaven now for about 4 years I think. Everytime we go I brag to people that this is one of my most favorite places in Australia to go. Our family frequent rutherglen stock up on some very good quality wine and sit back and relax on the banks of the Hume under the willow trees. The children love the BBQ’s and the inground trampoline. The swimming pool would have to be one of the cleanest and biggest pools we have come across in this type of accomodation. The children feed the ducks and generally enjoy a lovely time. Would highly recommend for families particularly if you have more than 2 children as the cabins have plenty of room and they keep on improving the park. We stay in the family villa right near the trampoline and I think it is the first as lake side villas. Very comfortable and on our last stay it had been fully updated. Congratulations to the owners of Boathaven and their tireless staff you provide a classy accommodation for families. More parks should take a leaf out of your book. By the way we travel from Karingal on the Mornington Peninsula around 4 hours away.

What a great resort and so relaxed. A little oasis in a rural area. We stay at the Boathaven Resort each year for a tennis tournament, and we keep going back. The service is fabulous, facilities great, the prices are real value for money, we could not ask for more. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Pool is fantastic and BBQ area is particularly good if you have a group of people, which we have had a few times while staying there. Most importanly there is so much to keep the kids happy and content.

We love Boathaven. We have stayed there many times and each time we can’t wait to for our next stay. We have told so many friends about it that they often come with us and they in turn have told their friends and so on. We live in Myrtleford and often say,”Why travel hundreds of miles to have a great holiday when there is somehting like this an hour way!”

Boathaven caravan park is the best caravan park i have stayed in in Victoria. Idyllicly located on the Hume Weir and beautiully maintained. It has eveything a family could want. Wonderful facitiies, expansive grounds and hospitable, obliging staff.
This January will be our 5th year at Boathaven. Our group consists of 3 – 5 adults and between 9 and 12 children. We reserve the same two camp sites each year, which comfortably houses all of us. Our kids love the facilities, in particular the pool and the open air night movies. It’s always very hot when we are camping at boathhaven, so to know that at around 8:00pm a beautiful breeze sails through the park to cool things down, is a treat. We have the same great neighbours each year and a lot of fun is had by all. Activities close by at Albury are always on our agenda ie; a trip to the movies is a great way to cool down for a few hours and the Albury swimming centre compete with water slides is a must! With so many kids to look out for, it is comforting to know that the park is very family orientated and that our kids feel at home and very safe.
What a beautiful park! Exception camp kitchen facilities that we used every night, it was a great place to meet fellow campers. The kids had a great time with the excellent facilities and watching the ducks in the pond. Everything was so convenient and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

From the moment we checked in we knew it was going to be a great stay. After 6000ks in the motorhome we were greeted with happy friendly service and a beautiful site. Everything was well maintained and we spent hours riding our bikes and walking around the lake and local attractions. Relaxing, perfect, what more can we say.

The only holiday park my wife and I would stay in,in Victoria
4 years ago, on our way from Rye , Vic. to Canberra we stayed at Boathaven Caravan Park . We’d had an accident 20 kils out of Wondonga,but wewere already booked for overnight, so we limped into the park – eventually!!! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly, so, on our return from Canberra, we stayed overnight again.!! It is a beautiful place, with a Tropical feel to it – everything was very clean.
We have booked again for 10 nights in NOvember – with ensuite – so we can again explore the area!!

Hi we went up to boathaven in november last year. beautiful place and the kids had a great time with all the activities in the park, riding bikes, swimming, tramopline and heaps more, we will go back there again.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Boathaven several times. We have had the budget camping experience & also the top end cabin experience. Every holiday for us at boathaven has been fun, relaxing & active. (From the pool to the water activities on the Hume Weir, not to forget the games room & tennis courts). The friendly staff have always assisted with queries we’ve had. There is always something to do in this highly maintained paradise, but we always find time to relax & chill out.
An oasis – fabulous facilities and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Would certainly recommend it unreservedly.

Beautiful surrounds on the shores of lake hume near Wodonga, Vic. It is so clean and well kept it is a credit to the managers. It has a pool, spa, childrens playground, Big kitchen, Games room, small shop, trampolines. The cabins are the cleanest and nicest ive seen in my travels.
Travelled from NZ . Wonderful faciities, beautifully kept – a real family holiday. Would recommend to others for a relaxing time. Friendly staff also.

We stayed here for a couple of nights when we had a car show to go to in Albury, i booked for us (4) then i told a few of our friends where we were staying and then i booked for them also ended up having another 8-10 people stay there. We all said that it was the best place any of us had stayed at, and we all stay at alot of places on our car show calendar. Staff were nice and the pool well that was like an oasis.

Boathaven was a wonderful ‘find’ ! This was our first time caravanning in this area and what a fantastic park – large level grassed sites, spotless amenities, very helpful friendly staff, beautiful landscaped gardens throughout, great pool and surroundings, BBQ area etc etc – one of the best parks we have been to – we will definitely be back !

We had such a relaxing time here we brought friends back with us the next time. Everything was clean and tidy and and everyone was very friendly. We could relax and the kids where safe at all times. This Parks location was fantastic as it was away from the huge crowds that gather in Cowes around the Christmas & New Year Period. We will be visiting again!
The Lake might be shrinking but the views are huge, the atmosphere friendly and the accomodation comfortable.

Love the spacious cabins and the lovely pool area overlooking the Hume Lake. The bbq area is very big with very clean cooking facilities which was great during our last visit.

We have stayed there for a number of years now on our way into Victoria and it’s always such a pleasure to return for a few nights coming back. The Management and staff are great hosts.
We stayed here with several grandchildren for a long weekend. They had a ball – plenty of space to run around and the swimming pool was a favourite. We were very happy with the unit we stayed in, which was very clean, and the friendly, helpful staff.

Victorias best kept Secret! A very outstanding tranquil park beautifuly landscaped located on the banks of the Hume Reservoir. Numerous facilities for family entertainment. Beautifully appointed Cabins with magnificant views of the surounds. Friendly and dedicted staff who are customer focused.

Plenty of room for the children to run around, very clean, great facilities. I don’t swim myself, but the pool area is fantastic – I think I’m in Queensland when I’m supervising my children! My family and friends have stayed both as a family group and as a large friends group (aaproximately 10 families in all). It is a great base for travellers who want to tour the north-east area of Victoria with Beechworth, Rutherglen and other tourist towns close by.

Our stay at Ebden Boathaven was very enjoyable. There is plenty to do at Ebden and surrounding areas. The lake and scenery are beautiful whether in winter or summer, autumn or spring, it is a wonderful place to stay.

This place feels like an oasis in the desert. The kids love the pool & playground facilites, also the outside movie theatre, the kids feel like grown ups when watching the movies staying up late. It is lovely & warm most of the year. Our ensuite was clean, the caravan site clean, good camping folk around. The lake nearby was scenic as well as a nearby recreation park. We throughly enjoyed it & was not too far to drive with the caravan.
As a mother of six children it is difficult to find a caravan park that will accomodate us and keep the kids entertained, but boathaven covers everything. I always completely relax when we stay there. The weather is always beautiful and with the resort style swimming pool and playgrounds, the kids are always excited about going back to boathaven. We have many happy memories of our stays and will continue to make many more I’m sure. Such a well kept park and fantastic layout.

We stayed at Boathaven last week and were amazed as it was the best Big4 we have stayed in. The layout of the cabins and sites with outstanding facilities on the shore of Lake Hume make it an excellent holiday destination. There are so many activities but it is hard to go past the beautiful swimming pool. We intend to stay again when we are next travelling that way. Thank you to the friendly staff who did such a lot to make our stay enjoyable.

I’ve stayed in many nice holiday parks throughout Australia, but Boathaven is definitely at the top of the list! The abundance of facilities, tennis court, trampoline, fabulous pool & spa area, bbq & camp kitchen facilities, kids club activities, outdoor movies in the summer, with beautiful cabins – not to mention the friendly, professional staff, all situated on the natural surroundings of Lake Hume make for a wonderful weekend getaway or a great extended holiday! If you’ve been once, guaranteed you’ll be visiting again!!! We love Boathaven – five stars all the way!
Boathaven has the best facilities. We have visited for the past 4 years and are going again in November. The tennis courts, BBQ’s and the spa and swimming pool are fantastic. Also love the movies that are put on in the evening, a great time is had by all the family. Highly recommend it!

ebden boathaven, if the weir is full, great place to stay,great amenities and only 15 mins to wodonga and about 22 mins to albury. Had some great times there when i was a young chappy,good parties, met lots of chicks.

We had the pleasure of staying at Boathaven last year with our 3 young children. We had the most fantastic time. We had planned to go see the sights of the local area, but once we arrived we did not leave the park as the facilities were so great we had no reason to leave !!!!!!!!!!!!
My 8 year old son Max has asked every month when are we going back to Boathaven, so it made a great impression on him. The trampoline in the ground, the pool , the playground, near the water to watch the boats, what more could you need !!!!!!!!!!

I have stayed here for a few years now with a group of motorcycling fiends. We have used the site as a base for recreational rides all through the ‘High Country’. An excellent venue with very good and clean facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. The opertaors do need a pat on the back for their continued enthusiasm and hospitality, their excellent service and maintaining a beautiful park and accommodation. Thanks Guys, well done, Alan.
A great place to spend our Xmas/New Year holiday with our extended family, the kids love it and have met heaps of friends. We are coming up to our 12th year there and will keep going back for years to come.

For a number of years we have used Boathaven as a base for our annual motorcycling tour of the High Country. Jenny and Ken should be congratulated on their wonderful hospitality, excellent customer service and beautifully maintained park and accommodation. Friends All Riding Together always enjoy coming back to Boathaven.
We were tired and out of sorts after a very long trip – and were so pleased to find the oasis that Boathaven is – we extended our stay – and plan to go back.
The park was a fantastic place to getaway, hubby close to fishing and myself close to the shops. The park was clean and staff helpful and friendly. I will definately be coming back again!!

Great in every way! A very friendly and relaxing holiday park. Perfect for the Family Holiday, with lots to do and see, or simply just kicking back.
The park is situated on Lake Home with a decent amount of parkland for kids to play in. A good variety of accomadation and quality service from Aspen staff. The park is only about 3.5 hours out of Melbourne which gives you the ability to slip out of the city around midday and be at the park before 4pm allowing time to settle in before its too dark. Its the getaway without being too far away!
Beautifully landscaped parkland on the shores of Lake Hume. Very well maintained and presented. Choice of either spa villas or en suite caravan sites. Delightful!

We have been holidaying regularly at Boathaven for the past 10 years. We still remember the 1st time we arrived at the Holiday Park, just like it was yesterday! Driving through the boom gate and around past the tree house, swimming pool, trampoline and beyond takes you into another world. You instantly relax, you hear the noises of nature and your holiday has certainly begun. Our children jump out of the car and go exploring, the 1st stop the playground, then onto the trampolines, then to the pool – test the water. The tennis court gets a work out, so to the games room and all this can be done on foot or bike and with little parental supervision. The park is so safe, friendly and having the feel of a small country community town. The best bit for me personally is the lack of wind, the days are still and just superb, all of this is just 3 hours from Melbourne!

My family have wonderful memories of staying at Boathaven for three years running, ’02, ’03, and ’04. Each time we stayed in one of the pool villas. The views over the well maintained gardens, pool area and lake (when there was enough water) were stunning to say the least. From our experience, the weather was always fabulous (you simply don’t need to go to Queensland). Customer service was excellent, in fact everything about the park was A+ but i think the highlight or the feature of the park is the pool. My kids lived in the pool too.
Top grade fascilities, always clean and welcoming, best pool area for individuals and family groups we,ve seen. Gardens are fantastic.

We booked in originally after seeing the brochure at the camping show 10 years ago. Have been every year since. Very tranquil & relaxing. Kids can keep themselves entertained (love that). Fantasic facilities, large green camping sites, very clean, open spaces & magical views. Handy to restaurants and shopping. Operators have maintained park extremely well over the years. Haven’t found a better place in VIC yet.
My family has been holidaying at Boathaven annually for about 10 years. The weather is always reliable and it’s close to home but best of all the park is impeccably tidy and efficiently run. The nightly outdoor movies are a highlight as is the beautifully maintained pool. The staff are friendly and you can count on everything to be clean and to work – quite unusual when compared to many parks. We love it.
Its Paradise at melbourne Finger tips . if there was such a thing as 6-7 stars i would give it . The place is clean , the staff are ready and willing to assist , the activities for children day & night are fantastic . the towns near by are great and not to far away . We spend 10 day there every year and found that you really do not have to leave the complex to have a great time
We’ve enjoyed staying at Boathaven for a couple of years now. We meet up with six other families (one from Sydney and six of us from Melbourne). It’s a great place to meet along the Hume and keeps everybody happy. We enjoy congregating on the grassy area for a bbq of an evening after a big day playing tennis, swimming, bouncing on the trampoline or just relaxing in the sun. Looking forward to next year’s meet!
We been in boathaven for more then 10 years.. first as a camper for 5 xmas and loved it as kids have full of life there during their hoilday .. so we end up bought caravan on site .. since then .. still there .. kids teenager now still full of life there ..
I love going to the part and playing tennis with managers and son. lots of fun and enjoyable.
Picturess and tranquil. Loved the peacefull environment and great place to kick back and relax, would recomend to all. Although the ugly litle kid needs to learn how to play tennis.
we stayed for 5 nights at this caravan park and none of us wanted to leave. The cabins were spotless, the grounds immaculate, the staff more than happy to help with anything. The kids favourite things were the pool and the trampoline

We have not stayed at Wodonga before and found the stay at Boathaven exceptional – the unit was beautiful and comfortable and the park quiet and lovely. Staff had the heater turned on for us as we arrived late and those little touches really make adifference. the cleanliness of the unit and surrounds was also excellent Thank you to all the staff

Boathaven Holiday Park has played host too 10 years out of the 37 years. I have such fond and fun memories holidaying as a child with my parents and brothers on the Hume and now my husband and children are experiencing the same exciting time at beautiful Boathaven Holiday Park. It is paradise without having to travel to far. Accomodation, park facilities, weather and the hosts all excellent. We are counting down the time unitl we get there again over the Christmas Break. Relaxation cannot wait.

Great pool, BBQ area and lots to do for the kids. Very safe for the kids to ride their bikes and play on the lawns. Hate to leave but look forward to the next visit.

boathaven is well situated in the region with the winries shops in wodonga and albury plus evan when the level of the lake down you can still do water sports to your hearts content

Clean, friendly and well run park surrounded by the Hume River. Pool with lounge chairs, games room and movies on the grass in the evening. On suite for powered sites are very luxurious when camping. Always great weather.

Our Mum has been going to Boathaven for over forty years and now she takes us up there all the time. It is so much fun, we get to play in the awesome pool, and ride our bikes everywhere. There are two playgrounds and an awesome trampoline and a tennis court. There are always so many kids up there that we are always making new friends! We have stayed with friends at Boathaven for the past 5-6 years. It started out as a weekend away and now is a fun tradition that we all look forward to. The kids are entertained on the trampoline and we can sit and relax in front of the cabins or by the pool. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
I have been going to Boathaven since I was 2! The changes that have been made to impvove this retreat is outstanding, all the facilities are fantastic! My children now enjoy coming to Boathaven, with so much for the whole family to do, once you arrive you never need to leave, just sit back and relax by the pool or choose one of the many other activities to do! i highly recommend a holiday to Boathaven, weather it is to set up your own camp and enjoy the huge camp kitchen facilities or hire out a fully self contained unit! For over 5 years our family has stayed at Boathaven and it has now become a tradition. The park has an amazing pool, excellent camp kitchens and is a beautiful clean place to stay. Lake Hume is minutes away and we spend most of our time water skiing. I would and have recommended Boathaven to all of our friends and family it is a great place to stay!!!
Boathaven is a great park, friendly staff who can not do enough for you. They were great when a few years ago we travelled back from Tasmania. The boat was delayed and we would not arrive until early hours in the morning. I rang the park and they arranged for a pass and told us were we would stay. I have not found other parks kind enough to do this for a customer. I have recommended Boathaven to many of our friends.

for the last four years – we have thoroughly enjoyed our annual stay at Boathaven – the friendly service, clean and comfortable accommodation and the great pool have made it a family favourite – looking forward to our next stay.
From sunup to sundown the kids are busy outside in the albury/wodonga sunshine. The kids don’t want to leave the park to visit any other local attractions as they are happy bouncing on the tramp,swimming in the pool,walking and biking in the surrounding areas, playing tennis or basketball or volleyball. The kids barely have time to stop for a meal break. They go to bed early as they exhausted from good old fresh air and activity and to top it doesn’t cost anything apart from the accomodation/site costs . For us adults, we get to sit ,relax , read, chat and laugh for EXTENDED periods of time. My kids don’t want to go any where else and now they have upgraded some powered sites with ensuites, camping is easy and I have no reason to consider finding an alternative holiday spot. We will continue to holiday here every March as we have done for the last 5 years.
Boathaven is a great family holiday place on the banks of Lake Hume. The park has beautiful manicured gardens , great camping facilities, friendly and very accomodating staff. We have been holidaying at his park for the past 25 years and have seen many changes all for the better. Each time we return to the park there have been more improvements. The atmosphere at the park in peak holiday time is fantastic, the organisation of events for children and adults over the peak holiday periods is a credit to management and staff. Great place to have new Year. The area is also a bonus as you have shopping , restaurants, cinemas and other facilities only a 10 minute drive away. Great place to unwind!
I had not been to a “caravan park” in 20 years. We joined the Big4 and stayed at BoatHaven and I was more than pleasantly surprised. Definitely not the type of caravan park I had visited all those years ago. The kids loved it and I felt it save enough to let them run about and have fun. All amenities clean and well maintained.

Our family and another family spent our first Christmas holidays at Boathaven Caravan Park for the first time, a fantastic place for the children and a great place for us to relax and know the children are safe, we also stayed Labor Day weekend and we are booked to stay again at Xmas. Beautiful location all year round with loads of facilities for all ages within the park. Accomodation comes in a variety of levels and very clean. All staff are very friendly and very welcoming. I visit every year and never want to leave

Have been going to Boathaven now for 9years. After our second visit there we were so impressed with the facilities this park has to offer that we decided to buy a unit of our own so that we had the flexibility to come and go as we pleased and not have to worry if we were able to get a booking at the time that we required as it is a very, very popular spot. We find the staff all very friendly and helpful and nothing is any trouble for them. Now that we are in our retiring years we will be able to visit much more often. The gardens and all other facilities are well looked after and the park has so much to offer any ange group.

My extended family quite often stay at Boathaven, unfortunately we have been unable to as yet, however from everything we hear when the opportunity does arise it is sure to be pleasurable.
My family and I had a fabulous time at Boathaven Caravan Park. For my 19 year old and 16 year old sons having the lake and being able to spend the whole day water skiing and on the jet skis is great. It is one holiday I know I will be able to have my whole family together because the boys have something to occupy them all day.
Our family often stay at the Boathaven Park, only 2 hours from home. The Children love the pool area and the Trampoline. We like the convenience of the Ensuite sites and the country view. The Dads enjoy the fishing and the Mums enjoy the Shopping. Plenty of tourist attractions around the area.
I recently visited with my family and the kids loved it there was alot of exploring for them and freinds to make, there was no need to go anywhere else the park has it all, since our visit my partner and i spend the weekend there and it was great and so relaxing the cabins have it all and we were thinking of buying an onsite van….. i like to say its my little secret getaway!!!
2009 will be my families 11th year at boathaven it is the best relaxing place to be fantastic for us as we live in albury and can pop home if need be or go to work but still feel like your away .we love our water skiing and there new years eve is the best so great for the whole family . the staff are great what more can i say its just the best place to be .

The park is a family friendly and has a great pool and spa, tennis court and a play facilities for the little ones. It is like being in Queensland but not as far to travel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Holidayed at Boathaven for a number of years. Each year the park has grown offering great facilities and a location close to the many activities. It is like a great tropical Queensland resort without the long drive and crowds. Good camping facilities, shady sites and facilities for the young kids.
Boathaven has been a holiday destination for the kids & I for the past two years. I was planning on trying out different places but there is no need to when everything you need is there. The kids enjoy venturing to the different areas they can play safely and why go to qld with a resort pool that they have on offer. Everyone is friendly and the grounds are well kept. A great place to relax and have fun.
The cabin accommodation (especially the lakeside villas) are the best value for money in the region. Great views on the veranda in the afternoon, sipping a wine, looking out onto the lake – have not found a better atmosphere in any other park accommodation.
The cabin was very clean and very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. it was enjoyable to sit on the porch and enjoy the wonderful view across the lake. i am now back in Pembrokeshire, UK and its a wet monday so its great to think back to the great time we had at Boathaven.
Our family loved it! We will be back for certain. Beautifully maintained and lots to keep the kids entertained.

We have been going to Boathaven Park with friends & relations for about 10 years now. We find it a great place to stay and make new friends and relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. The friendly staff are always on hand to assist should the need arise as well as have a laugh with you too. The amenities are great. The new ensuite sites terrific. We enjoy the pool and spa and always return relaxed and refreshed after our holiday. The only thing wrong – it goes too quick.
We came for a five night camping trip, it was a beautiful day when we arrived and set up but for the remaining days and nights it rained. Despite the weather we had a great time the kids loved the games room and pool, the ensuite we had on site was a good size and lovely and clean. We especially enjoyed the camp kitchen which was a nice place to get to know other travelers.
What a brilliant place to stay – great pool area – great kids playing area – great bbq facilities, tennis courts, you name it, this palce has got it. Stayed over the Labour day weekend in March where the weather was 30 and above all 3 days. Will be a yearly holiday for us there from now on!!

We were planning on going somewhere else this year but because we loved it so much we are going back. I also plan on taking my family there as they will love it. Far enough away for the peace & quiet but close enough for the attractions.. Highly recommend..

We went to Boathaven for the 1st time in March this year and we have not experienced a weekend as great as that in a very very long time. The cabins were very clean, and the grounds immaculate. I would recommend Boat Haven to anyone looking for a little R and R in a fabulous spot.

Boathaven Hoiliday Park was the pick of places to stay to celebrate my 30th Birthday. With wonderful facilities for large groups, we all had a fabulous time. The children are well catered for which takes the stress out of inner-city motel holidaying. We will be back!

Boathaven Holiday Park is the place to stay. For years now our family has held their family reunion, ranging from 70-100 people, at Boathaven Holiday Park. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the kids have an absolute ball in the pool, on the trampoline and of course the fantastic playground. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone to stay for a quiet relaxing break.

We have been going to boathaven for over 12 years and go still to this day . We go several times a year. It is in a beautiful location and close enough to go into town when you need to. Its great for families to go on vacations as there are so many activities for kids. I recommend Boathaven highly as the staff are always friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome. We spent two weeks at Boathaven last summer and we LOVED it… What a fantastic pool… Relaxing and fun, perfect for familes with young kids. This coming summer are have rebooked and are bringing several other familes with us.

Lovely park to stay in. We live only 10km from the park and find it great as we are at our holiday destination in no time, and it doesn’t take all day to get there. Very relaxing and we catch up with other members of the family who also stay there.
We have stayed several times at Boat Haven & have had a very relaxing holiday. The ameneties are great, the cabins are clean, bright & comfortable. Our last stay we had 47 family members stay & comments that came back were that it was very “easy” – the young children well catered for & looked after easily & safely. The grounds & facilities are always well kept. We will certainly be returning as it is convenient for Vic, NSW & Canberra residents. The only drawback is nature- no rain to raise the Hume!! Would recommend to everyone!

We have visited the park on many occasions and have found the facilities to be first class. The pool is spectacular and the camp kitchen with large fire place is great. We operate a business in NE Victoria and travel regularly to Wodonga. After staying at Motels friends etc we found Boathaven and what a great find off season it is quiet and relaxing, Holiday season it turn into a busy place but does not detract from the resort feel. The staff are friendly and facilities clean and welcoming. It has everything that anybody would require if staying at a QLD park but the cost is far more reasonable. They have my vote +

We are booked in for our 11th year at boathaven and wouldn’t dream of missing our annual holiday there with family. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised with this park and all its well kept facilities.
Our family has travelled extensively throughout Australia (with the exception of WA) and this park is one of the best. This is the only park where we have year on year bookings (over the Melbourne Cup week) and have been enjoying the facilities for some 10 years now (originally in a tent and now in a caravan). The amenities and grounds are well maintained and the pool & spa areas are fantastic. The staff are always helpful and we have often recommended this park to family and friends, with no complaints so far.
What a great holiday park! We stayed in a cabin on the first night of our honeymoon and were well looked after. This park offers great activities for the family and is sooooooo neat and tidy!!!! Our cabin wa fantastic and was well worth every cent. At the conclusion of our honeymoon we decided to return to Boathaven as we had such a great time on the first night. What a great spot. Will be back again!

Just a pleasure to holiday there
Since our first chance encounter with this tourist park we have made it a MUST STAY holiday destination when we are either passing through or staying in the area, once you have stayed there, you reset the benchmark that other parks need to aspire to.
We have stayed at Boathaven many times both as in a couple and also with our family including Grandchildren and it is the best place for both sorts of people. Beautiful amenities for that special weekend as a couple and sensational facilities for children of all ages that are both interesting and safe.
Well done Boathaven. We will be back in December this year.

Boathaven is a wonderful place, our big family have used the park on numerous occasions for our family christmas party’s. The staff are all very helpful, the grounds are always perfect. The kids love the pool area and so do all the adults. We feel that the staff are part of our family and will continue to have the part’ys here for many years to come.

has great sized camping grounds in a clean and well appointed environment. Great facilities to keep all the family entertained even when the hume weir is to low on water to allow water sports our group of 6 families have always found enough to do despite not being able to ski or fish.
We love Boathaven – we stay every couple of years with our friends in the Poolside Villas. The kids have a ball and the adults unwind and relax. The facilities are so clean and well maintained. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. Boathaven is a fantastic family holiday destination.
We arrived in Autum and the park was just beautiful, so neat and tidy. We had a fantasic family celebration at the park, their camp kitchen was the best I’ve ever seen and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We’ll definately be back!
I had a lovely weekend with 6 other families. The facilities were fabulous – lovely pool and the kids jumped just about all the bounce out of the tramp.!
We loved it. Best holiday ever. We enjoyed every minute. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks at the lagoon, as well as the playground. We all loved the pool, it’s better than the brochure. They have lots of activities on for the kids, especially loved the movie night. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Our cabin was very clean, as was the entire grounds. Would recommend boat Haven as a place to stay at Wodonga for sure.

We love the park and have been going there for the past 5 years approx at the same time every year with our caravan with a en-suite site. The park is so safe for children to play , we know we can sit back and relax without having to stress about where the children are and enjoy our holiday. Sitting by the pool you could imagine you are in QLD with the beautiful surroundings it has. The sites are of a good size, with plenty of shade and one of the best maintained parks we have ever stayed at with friendly accomidating staff. Albury / Wodonga is only a short drive away and many site seeing places are with-in a short drive. I recomend Boathaven Park to anybody.

We have been meeting friends halfway between Melbourne and Canberra for many years at Boathaven. The cabins are spotless, well equipped and the surroundings are picturesque. The view to the lake, the surrounding hills and the evening lights and stars are wonderful to help city folk unwind. The facilities are top notch with a great pool, outdoor cooking area, playground, trampoline, spa, etc. Especially important for us is the peace and quiet. There is plenty to do at Boathaven and in surrounding areas. Highly recommended.
Boathaven is such a great place that eventhough we live in Wodonga we still take a break there. The facilities are great for the family, there are excellent new ensuite sites and a resort pool! No need to travel any further!
A great place to go for a family break, park managers were very friendly. A very tropical feel with all the palms around the pool and park. We had a great time staying there and wished it had of been for longer, but we will return.
We’ve been on many family holidays to interstate 5 star resorts. To our surprise, none of those experiences came close to the wonderful time we had at Boathaven. We all felt an immense sense of freedom and peace in the beautiful environment. We were never bored searching for something to do and assistance from park staff was readily available when required. We have been looking forward to our next holiday there since we last drove out of the place. Needless to say, we will be returning again next Summer!
We would just like to say what a wonderful time we spent at your park, after having travelled through Broken Hill & surrounds, then through S.A. – Wilpena Pound, the Flinders, Hall’s Gap, it was so nice to spend time at your oasis !!!! Been to baoathaven and we as a family enjoyed our stay there and hoping to go a again and friends of mine went there and all also enjoyed and was thanking me that i told them about boat haven..it was just fantastic!!!
A fantastic place to stay – you feel like you are on a tropical isalnd – it is so green and fresh looking and the palm trees are beautiful. An oasis in the middle of nowhere. Cabins are lovely and conveniently close to pool. We had a great time!
A surprisingly lovely destination for somewhere that is quite out of the way.
We have been going the past 5 years and love the surrounds,plenty of things for kids to do such as tennis,swimming,movie nights. It’s a great place to relax.
My husband and I camped at Boathaven for the first time earlier this year, and will definitely be back. The pool is fantastic with an awesome view, and cooking in the the camp kitchen with a glass of red at dusk is so fine, with the relaxing sounds of the pond in the background. Can I come back now please?
Boathaven is a paradise for families. It provides a safe, relaxing environment to enjoy time together. The shady pool area and playground are equal to any resort we have stayed in around Australia. We love it!
Having travelled around Australia for 3 months we have stayed in lots of caravan parks- we just love this one the pool area is so beautiful, great bbq areas plenty to do for the kids, we will be coming back for longer next time. The staff are friendly to which for me is a must!!!.
we travelled around Victoria for a number of years trying different locations for a holiday place which would suit our growing family. And by good fortune found boat haven,all excellent amenities,lovely view over lake,and very family orientated.Thats why after 11 years we still go there.
We stayed at Boathaven for a week loved the beautiful ensuit sites and the nice clean park and friendly service by all the staff we will stay there again when we are that way a great relaxing place

The boathaven park is a fabulous place to stay,the people who work there are the best very helpful friendly and just all round good eggs. The next best thing about the park is it has so many great places to see if you want to drag yourself away from and go for a day drive we love it.
Great clean well equipped cabins, wonderful facilities, kids loved the pool and spa the younger children had fun on the trampoline and park. It felt like a 5 * resort , we all have great memories of our visit ,we definately be going back.
We stayed at the Boathaven this year and we found it a really lovely place. Especially clean park with a friendly and helpful staff. Great activities for the children. The kids never got bored. We had a relaxing time. Would definetly stay there again.
We had a fantastic week at Boathaven in the Easter school holidays. We love having the fire at night and the outdoor movies were great. The kids love the freedom of being able to run around or ride their bikes on all the open space.
The pool area is beautiful and the spa is great, for the whole family. Definitely coming back again some time soon.

Love the pool area the best, great caravan park for the families (no rif raf tolerated) which was great. Felt really comfortable to let the kids go and play and knew they were in a safe place. Everything was always nice and clean.
On our first visit to the park we felt just because the lake was not at its peak performance it did not affect the parks performance. Always friendly well maintained with exceptional facilities . We will return soon.

We visited boathaven Easter 2009 which we thoroughly enjoyed even though the water level of the weir was 3%. It was a lovely spot and a good drive around the weir level – would love to visit again when there is more water is the Hume. Boathaven was close to Albury, Wondonga and Beachworth.
Our group of four families have stayed at Boathaven over Easter for the past two years. Fantastic park, great facilities, with managers that did all they could to make our stay a happy one. Thank You.

Boathaven Holiday Park is the place to stay. Our family has held family reunions for years at this park. The staff are more than happy to accommodate the large group (70-100 people) The kids are always entertained whether it be in the pool, bouncing on the trampoline or playing on the playground. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

We are always assured of a great break when we jump in the car and make the short drive to Boathaven. We use the dam to fish, utilise the fantastic pool and the kids just love the trampoline. The hospitality is always great and the grounds are always kept so nice. Great family holiday!
Well what can one say this is our 12th year every long weekend we go to boathaven i think there is between 5 and 8 familys that go at different times.We h ave the best time some in vans some in tents what a park people r so friendly.The managers are great people all will help you with anything nothing is tomuch for them . You make friends in the park that you keep for a life time we will be going there for many years to come we love it . the pool is the best i have seen in a park . michelle richards
I have stayed at Boathaven several times over the past few years and we have an absolute ball everytime. The pool is wonderful and the cabins always neat and tidy and there is always something to do. The kids love our holidays at Boathaven and I strongly recommend a visit!! You will love it.
Boathaven was the last stop on the return leg of a recent two week driving holiday. The staff were caring, the cabin clean and accomodating – the entire park was one to remember and place on the list of one to spend more time at in future.

Have been to many caravan parks, but when I visited Boathaven, I did not realise how beautiful a park could look. From lovely homely cabins, to fantastic landscape gardens, great kids playground (We really enjoyed the trampoline), great tent sites and a great spot right near the lake. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We have found our spot at Albury/Wondonga and it is right there at Boathaven Caravan Park. Thanks guys for looking after such a wonderful park!
A very peaceful place to stay with a magical lookout over Lake Hume. Somewhere to stay that is therapeutic by the waters edge.
We have been there several times and enjoyed everything about the place. Cannot fault anything there, great for kids and adults. First class amenities, helpful staff and great location. Enjoyed our visits even without much water in lake. Looking forward to our next visit

We stay at Boathaven once a year .It has the best pool , the kids have a ball. The cabins are perfect and every year we see improvements . Staff are very helpful and welcoming .
I took my family to Boathaven for a wonderful holiday earlier this year as one of my sons had a soccer game scheduled in Wodonga as part of the F.F.V. Summer league programme…… Whilst there we found all the staff very courteous, willing to assist in any way possible and above all else at all times so receptive to not only our own individual needs but also seeking any feedback that would enable them to cater better for future ”holiday seekers”. We all found the cabins were brilliant combined with the general surrounds and close proximaty to the Hume Dam. I certainly would have no hesitation in recommending this particular Holiday Park to anyone, as I already have to my network of friends.

It was very relaxing to sit out on the front porch and watch the sun set over the lake. Very clean cabin and great facilities. Highly recommended!

This was our first year staying at boathaven and we loved it so much that we immediately booked ahead for 2010.The facilities were great-a huge bbq eating area which was located centrally to all patrons(we never cooked in our vans once)our ensuite was very clean on arrival,short travelling distance to major shopping facilities,friendly staff,the pool area was fantastic for our kids who range from 2 to 10 years of age we felt like we were in a tropical oasis there it had palms everywhere tables and seats and the pool had a toddler area as well as normal swimming areas.The staff even put on holiday activities for the kids which were fantastic but also we had movies of a night time on an open lawn area which was just like being back at the drive in.Loved it!!!

Excellent park, lovely set up and really well laid out. We stayed in an en suite van site and it was immaculate. The park was really family friendly with a great pool and play areas for the kids. The people were very friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities and cooking areas were all clean and tidy.
My husband and I were recommended to stay at Boathaven from another couple from the area who said it was a quiet caravan park. We had a very good ensuite site, the amenities were exceptionally clean, the camp kitchen was the best facility in camp kitchens I have come across in the many caravan parks we have stayed in.
I have already recommended Boathaven to friends travelling south. There was plenty to see and do in the area as well and wished we had more time to spend sightseering.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful.

A great place to stay for all the family. Peaceful but still plenty to do. A gorgeous resort style pool which was safe for the kids and lots of play equipment. A huge plus for me is the comfortable, spacious accommodation which was very clean and bright. We had one of the Palm Villas and this easily accommodated two adults and four children. I will definitely be back again. A+++++++++ all the way.
We go every Christmas and have the best time – our kids never want to leave and come home – Outdoor movies on the lawn, kids club, great pool, airconditioned and well maintained cabins and most of all the friendly staff who work at the park

Our family had a wonderful holiday at Boathaven last Christmas. As we have 5 children of different ages, there was something fun for all. The trampoline was a big hit and pool was really big, even though there were a few people in it you didn’t feel squished. We also enjoyed the movies at dusk a good opportunity for the family to sit together and watch a kids movie after the fun day. Boathaven is also quite central to Wodgona and Albury, which we visited during out stay. It was nice to come home to Boathaven and enjoyed the shady areas and a bit of sun if you wish after travelling to the ‘city’. With the Lake at the back of the holiday park, with the water so far back it was very safe for the young ones, but older kids could use the facilities if they wished. We would love to return.

We first heard about Boathaven from another family as they had stayed and had a wonderful holiday there. The facilities are fantastic and the activities are catered to all ages. The pool and games room is great for the kids!!

We absolutely loved our stay especially as it was Jan school hols and prices had not been inflated like other holiday parks. Plenty for the kids to do, pool, games room, tennis courts and exploring the dry lake bed. Our kids did not want to leave. They are even asking to go to Albury instead of the gold coast and are always telling their friends about boathaven. The cabins are roomy for a family of 6 and park grounds are immaculate. The staff do a fantastic job.

Such a great setting for a caravan park. This was no standard caravan park either! So many facilities catering for adults and childen, in a tree filled setting. Great sized pool and very friendly staff. I have stayed in the new and older cabins. Both are well kept, clean and comfortable! Definitely a place to keep going back to!

Boathaven is beautiful, peaceful and a joy to visit. We enjoy the ibis and the ducks, the walk to the lake’s edge and the view of the countryside. I have had a photo of the view from a Boathaven cabin on my computer screen for months, makes me feel restful just to look at it.
Great facilities and well maintained park. Would prefer not to have to pay extra for the spa, but that is only a small complaint, it is a top spot and certainly the best resort park in this area.
Absolutely a beautiful park – even though the water levels were down the views were still spectacular. Every thing was in the cabin that we could possibly want. Very friendly staff. We look forward to going back there again.

First time staying at Boathaven in March 2009 and certainly won’t be the last. We had an ensuite site which was roomy and had a large concrete slab. The ensuite was modern and clean. Boathaven has the best swimming pool of any caravan park I’ve stayed at, simply spectacular lagoon style pool and lovely surrounds. The staff were friendly and helpful and the park is large and well laid out. A great place to holiday as it’s within easy driving to wineries, mountains and Murray River resorts.

A wonderful family friendly park with loads to offer all ages. It boasts loads of clean and well maintained facilities provided by very accommodating staff. Boathaven provides an idyllic relaxing lakeside location with the convenience of a short drive to town and local tourist attractions should you feel the need to leave (or are able to drag the children away from) the park. We were lucky to come across this lovely park while travelling from Newcastle back to Tassie, we stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet which was very nice, we enjoyed our stay so much that we spent a week on a powered site when travelling in our Travelhome early May, the grounds to this park, amenities and camp kitchen are exceptional and we met many nice travellers in camp kitchen at meal times, the camp kitchen is one of the best we have come across. Lovely staff and well maintained, We will definately return.
Quiet, remote but town is close enough for supplies, beach at your doorstep, and good fishing. What more could you want!
A wonderful holiday park perfect for that family friendly holiday away from the hussle and bussle of life. Wonderful self contained cabins and he lake when theres water in it to ski. If i didnt know i would of thought we were in Fiji.
The Boathaven Holiday Park is in a great location, close to the shopping, movies and restaurants of two large towns yet in the peace & quiet of the bush on the shores of Lake Hume. The park is well kept and clean with a lovely camp kitchen. The children have a lot to do with the playgrounds, large tropical swimming pool and the banks of the lake. There is a safe swimming spot close by on the river where you can float down on a lilo in knee-deep water. We have been holidaying here for the past 4-5 years and keep coming back. It has become a family tradition that is now rubbing off to our friends…
We love this place. It is exceptionally clean and quiet. There is so much for the kids to do that you struggle to do it all in one weekend. The staff are fantastic, always willing to help you with whatever you need or to just have a chat. And with the landscaping (especially the palm trees) you could be anywhere in the tropics but just 2 hours from Wagga Wagga.
just brought the new van and ” boat haven ” was recommended,headed straight there, enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly, and the most important thing was the kids had a ball….highly recommended.
Our tennis team has been going to country week for the last 6 years, we choose to stay there every time because of the beautiful setting, wonderful service and the great amenities. The pool is just what we need after a hard day on the tennis court,we would not stay anywhere else.
We’ve been to Boathaven a couple of times in the past 12 months along with a number of other places throughout Victoria. This is the best by far. A highly maintained venue which is so tranquil, and the kids just love it. Close to many other places of interest, it is very well located. And the hostess is the greatest!

I have found Jenny one of the warmest and friendliest host of many of the caravan parks that I have stayed at around Australia. Nothing is too much to ask. The park facilities are also some of the best around and very very clean. I make a number of trips to Wodonga through the year and prefer to stay at the Boathaven Holiday Park rather than a Motel.
Excellect family holiday park, especially with young children, plenty to keep them occupied. Excellect location too, short drive to facilities within 10 mins., & if you are after tourist attractions/drives good vicinity for that too, being close to Beechworth and Yackandah. Highly recommended.
The best family, holiday we had in a long time. The facilities are great and varied, something for all the ages groups of our children, Relaxing safe environment.

Hello we stayed at Boathaven Holiday park last year and it was beautiful, all of the facilities and activities we great, our kids had a great time riding there bikes around, playing on the trampoline, going swimming and watching the movies on the grass at night. We went for heaps of walks around the lake. We would stay there again it was a fun and relaxing time. The staff were very accomadating to all our needs.

It is a terrific set up for families, with a great pool area and games room, as well as tennis courts. The lakeside location is very peaceful and picturesque. The cabins are very well presented and maintained with good amenities, and the grounds clean and well maintained. There is a general store which is well stocked. The management and staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall a really great place to stay, we always love our holidays here.
My husband & I have travelled all around Australia and this park is by far the best. The amenities are spotless and the facilities are fantastic, especially the camp kitchen. The pool & spa area was really beautiful and makes you feel very relaxed. To top all this off we found the staff to be extremely friendly and very hardworking. Anyone who visits the area should stay at this park. The park was recommended to us by our daughter who stayed with her 2 kids.

Fantastic place in a great location. We stay at Boathaven twice a year with both family & friends. It offers great family facilities in all ranges of accomodation.
The friendly staff keep facilities immaculate & combined with the location on the shores of Lake Hume we could not recommend Boathaven highly enough.
My wife and I in our camper and our daughter in their camper were fortunate to spend a day at Boathaven on the Hume Weir on our way home from Western Australia. We were fortunate in having Ensuite sites and we found that the amenities were excelent and the staff at the office friendly and helpful. Our stay was very pleasant and we will probably stay there again when we next go that way
Our ensuite caravan site was excellent – just like new. If you are expecting to have waterfront views then you will need your binoculars . Because of the drought, Lake Hume is way off in the distance. Barbeque/Camp kitchen were of a very high standard. The swimming pool has a beautiful setting, however I would not stay there again during the summer school holidays – it was standing room only in the swimming pool. There is a duck pond with waterlilies that was also lovely to sit by. Highly recommend if you have kids.
We stay at Boathaven every year and have for the past 8 years. We go with 4 other families and will never change this tradition. We live not too far away, but when we are there it feels as though we could be across the other side of the country. It is a great place for the kids and adults. The accomodation is great and the amenities are great. You couldnt ask for a better pool area and the position is beautiful. With easy access to the lake makes it great for skiing and fishing or just going for a walk. It’s a short drive into town so if you run out of anything its not far away. The Management and staff are wonderful. I would recomend this place to anyone.
What a fantastic place to stay, and we can’t wait to return! The amenities are so good that if we didn’t have family in Albury and Wodonga (both of which are close if you need a shopping/city fix), that we’d have little reason to leave. The kids love the pool and trampoline, great areas for bike riding and we loved the moonlight cinema. Agree with earlier comment that the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay, and that’s a big reason to return. A perfect example of this was the well organised Easter egg hunt – another great memory for the kids, who ask all year when we’re going back there for another holiday!
We spend the New Year period at Boathaven Holiday Park and this will be our tenth year running. It is a wonderful, child friendly place to stay and provides great entertainment for both adults and children alike.

A modern holiday park set on the shores of Hume Lake. It’s serene, the cabins are up to date and a joy to stay in. Facilities are kept immaculate and modern. An excellent choice for a holiday break, long or short.
Great park, great location and great staff. Its central to so many activities and the lake is fantastic for boating and fishing. We have 5 kids and they love coming. The staff/owners are friendly and relaxed and the park is spotless. We come here every year and its always a real treat.
Was the first time my wife and I have taken our 2 small children on a holiday (under 3). The park was spectacularily clean and beautifully landscaped. We all had a fantastic time and were amazed how nice the self contained cabin we had was. We will definately use the Boathaven when in the region. Jenny and her Husband were also very warm and welcoming, (even at the time we arrived)

Situated on the edge of Lake Hume, an idealistic spot for family vacations. I have been going to Boathaven for the past three years and cant believe I have only just discovered it. I holiday with a group of families with varying ages of children and the park’s facilities caters for all of us. The parents have a great time as the children are well looked after. The pool and spa area are a favorite of mine. Close to this area is the trampolines and playground equipment making a very convenient and safe environment for the children. I especially like the family atmosphere. For those who like to shop or run out of supplies Albury/Wodonga is close by. Come to Boathaven, you wont regret it, we didn’t . Happy holidaying.
This park is an oasis in the middle of a very dry area, and I love it as it is quiet and just what you need to get away, and is very well maintained. We drive for 5 hours to get there as it is that good, we love it.

Boathaven Holiday Park offers a very high level of cleanliness & hygiene. The service was very good with the management being helpful & friendly. The accommodation was central to our needs and one of few in the area offering specifically what we needed. The park was secure with access being difficult. The amenities both internal and external were excellent.

Facilities are immaculate. Grounds are extremely well kept. Management are very accommodating. Resort has a peaceful atmosphere if you just want to kick back yet enough entertainment to keep all ages and stages occupied. You could almost guarantee the weather which is good one day perfect the next. Camp sites are more than a decent size.
A great place for families, lots to do, facilities are excellent and the cabins are very spacious. Great for groups, huge BBQ area and pool. One of the cleanest Parks we have ever been to, would highly recommend it to others. Close to Albury, great walk to Lake Hume. Had a great time, would go back again.
This is a perfect place to stay on a holiday that keeps all members of the family amused. The beautiful pool area is a personal favourite of our family.

Boathaven is a great family holiday park situated on the Hume Weir just minutes from Albury and Wodonga. Resort style facilities with plenty to keep the kids occupied. Impressive swimming pool, inground trampoline, multiple play areas, tennis court and games room. Accommodation to suit everyone ranging from poolside villas, cabins and camping sites with ensuites. A fantastic place to take a break.
My family likes the way the caravan is situated with the on suite at the back because we can get out of our caravan and just walk a few steps to the shower and toilet.
Wow Wow!!! The park offered something for the whole family. We enjoyed the pool and the outside movies. We will stay there again.

Our cabin was clean & tidy and the staff were very attentive and friendly.We will definetly return again to Victoria,especially the Boathaven Park.
Beautifully situated on the banks of Lake Hume , wonderfully appointed units , and the best customer service and staff I have encountered in years. The up keep of the park is a credit to the knowledgable staff who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The added bonus was affordable prices on top class facilities! Will definately go back next time I’m in the Albury / Wodonga region.
This is a fantastic place to stay for a holiday or just a weekend. Tons of space for children to run & play plus tranquillity for the older holiday maker. Well laid out for both able & disabled people. Minutes from the shopping centre. The cabins are very comfortable and have everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. I thouroughly recommend Boathaven Holiday Park to everyone of all ages. As an overseas visitor I was totally impressed by the efficiency and friendlyness of the staff. Well done.
Once a year for the last 13 years, a large group of friends have gathered with their families for 4 to 5 days at a time to enjoy the hospitality of the Park Management team, the beautifully landscaped gardens, the best resort pool for a holiday park you can find, rounded off with superior accommodation facilities on hand. Need a change of scenery, no need to leave the park, just grab a chair and relax on the lawns by watching the glow of the orange, pink, and mauve colors of the sunset or sunrise as the rays of light dance of the rolling hills and waters of the Hume Weir. Always a tragedy to leave, but there is always anticipation of next years visit. Put simply, a place of relaxation and merriment for kids and grown-ups alike in a very Australian setting.
Had a great family holiday here last year, and are going back again this year. Kids loved the pool and games room. Cabins were very clean. Looking forward to our next holiday.
Great open spaces. Accomadation clean and good. Great value for money. Kids love the huge resort style pool. Pool is as good as any in Qld.
Boathaven is a lovely to place to go and get away. The children love going there once a year.

This is a fantastic family holiday park with nearly every facility possible available to you. The pool area is amazing and makes you feel like you are ot a resort in QLD or Fiji. The activities such as the golf and Volleyball tournaments are so much fun and involved everyone in the park. The kids club gives us the opportunity to relax in the morning before a full afternoon of skiing on the Lake. It is so beautifully maintained and would recommend this park to everyone, which we have already done!
Beautiful little cabins right by the waterside. Really stunning place to stay. Driving distance from Wodonga and Albury – acess to everything you could need! So lovely, my fiance proposed to me there!!
Close the beach Excellent facilities Friendly staff always willing to assist Large sites for all i.e. Caravans , tents , camper-trailers- The cabins are very large with excellent finishes and well equiped. I highly recommend Boathaven Holiday Park .
The park is close to Wodonga and Lake Hume. The park is clean and very well maintained and suitable for people of all ages. The pool has a lovely setting and there are pleny of activites for the kids such as inground trampoline and games room. Nearby Lake Hume provides boating activities including skiing, jet skiing and fishing and these activities do not create noise level foir the patrons in the Park. Shopping and restaurants are nearby in Wodonga along with other attractions should you wish for a day’s outing.
Short drive from Melbourne. Great ensuite sites with turf grass and concrete to caravan sites. Fantastic pool area and great facilities for children. Camp kitchen, BBQ areas, lots of choice with sites and cabins. Well worth looking at.
