Wonderful to see an historical building being restored and used and supporting a rural town and community.

My husband and I had the most wonderful evening at the Euroa Butter Factory last year. So wonderful in fact, that we are heading back there again next week with friends to celebrate my birthday. Rebecca couldn’t have been a better hostess and the breakfast she whipped up for us was divine. The perfect setting for absolutely any occasion.

What a beautiful treasure for Euroa to be able to claim! Such a friendly and warm family have turned this once ignored local icon into a rustic treasure. Dont leave without having breakfast……….we’ll be back for more!

It was such a lovely surprise, Rebecca introduced us to so many other things to see and enjoy in Euroa and the region. We found the Butter Factory quite, calm and restful, especially after traveling around the vineyards and local towns. It was a weekend that opened us up, and a place that filled us with spirit.

I wish I could wax as lyrical as some of the other comments…suffice to say the property has been painstakingly and lovingly restored, the welcome is warm and genuine, the food superb, the standard of accommodation luxurious, the surroudings beautiful and all only an hour’s drive from Melbourne.
The Butter Factory is deserving of a five star rating !
On our next trip ‘downunder’ we will definitely be staying again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Butter Factory. The home cooked lasagne was the best we had ever eaten (we love lasagne so we have eaten loads of them). Our 3yo loved feeding the chooks and had a great time in the lovely gardens. We cannot wait to return!!

We had a wonderful time at the Euroa Butter Factory, the relaxed country atmostphere and the beautiful historical setting were just right for a weekend away from the city.
I can think of nothing better than sitting on the terrace in the winter sun enjoying the local wines and delicious food provided by our hosts.

My husband and I have just spent a most enjoyable evening at the Euroa Butter Factory. The rooms were superb as was the breakfast the next morning. WEe’re already planning our next visit – this time with a group of friend to take advantage of the spacious drawing room and the home cooked dinners.

The Euroa Butter Factory is a sensational place to eat at or stay in for many reasons. The hosts are so very warm and welcoming and are happy to discuss the wonderful history of this magnificane old building. The place is so luxurious without being pretentious in any way and the food is excellent. It’s a very comfortable distance from Melbourne for a weekend getaway – just over an hour’s drive. Best of all, it was originally the home of my grandparents and I spent many happy holidays there as a child when it was quite “rudimentary” accommodation. When I returned for the weekend, I was truly transported back in time! I would recommend this lovely, peaceful place by the historic “Seven’s Creek” to anyone who needs to be pampered in beautiful bush surroundings.

My husband and I recently celebrated our birthdays with a weekend at the Butter Factory – we were five couples in all – and were treated to great hospitality. I particularly enjoyed the massage (organised for us by Bec with an excellent local practitioner), the ambiance, the generosity of the catered dinner in our private dining room, the interesting wine list and the relaxing lounge. Nothing was too much trouble. The 10 of us are trying to think of an excuse to visit again…

the buildings have been painstakingly restored by our graciuous hosts and the very large bedroom with the footed bath is great for a romantic weekend indulgence .
the outdoor cinema was a lot of fun, particularly mixing with the other movie buffs before and after the show ,at the well appointed bar.

it was only a short drive from melbourne but a great place to get away from the city and relax, in a country setting .

My partner & I had the perfect long weekend away from Melbourne at the Butter Factory. The building has been immacuatley restored with remarkable attention to detail. Modern finishes & Bec’s interior design skills are to be admired, whilst the enormous renovation does not overshadow the buildings original character. Bec was the perfect host & is a seriously good cook who whipped us up a delightful dinner & breakfast. There is much to do in the region in terms of wine-tasting & gastronomic delights. Violet town market is well worth a visit too, as is Ruffy’s store which is tucked away in the back roads & hills, which at one point driving towards I thought may not even exist. I couldn’t recommend the Butter Factory & Bec’s warm hospitality any more enthusiastically. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed!

The Euroa Butter Factory is stunning from start to finish. The five guest rooms are beautifully decorated. The lounge is also located on the second level for all guests to relax and enjoy.
The catering was superb with a menu specifically designed for my function.
I can not fault anything about the venue.
I highly recommend the Euroa Butter Factory whether you are organising a celebration or function or simply wanting to escape for a quiet week end away…

The old worldly feeling of the building as you enter belies the comfort within. Upstairs, the lounge with the long windows provides a tranquil setting in which to sit and sip a pre dinner drink as the sun goes down.
As we opened the castle like doors to the bedroom corridor we wondered what would be beyond, and were not disappointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been designed with elegance and comfort.
The local produce supplied for a snack on arrival and then breakfast was delicious. Rebecca and Russell supplied us with all the knowledge of the surrounding area we needed to make our weekend wonderful.

The Butter Factory is a stand-out in regional Victorian accommodation. Having sampled a fair bit of it in our time we were amazed with the standard of this gem of a B and B. The proprietors of The Butter Factory have somehow managed to keep the orignial character of this building while turning it into something quite grand (in a funky way!). See it for yourself.

The Euroa Butter Factory do great meals and provide a country atmosphere not often experienced together with a class act.

This old building has been beautifully restored creating some fantastic & unique b&b accommodation. Our room was in the tower with a really trendy bathroom, lovely Molten Brown products & crisp bed linen. We had a delicious freshly cooked breakfast in part of the old butter factory which has been transformed into a bar & dining area – we could hear the chooks in the garden so you don’t get fresher eggs than that. This place is a gem tucked away in Euroa but close to loads of wineries & Ned Kelly country.

What an enjoyable experience! The character of the old buildings and the Euroa surroundings are charming and the accommodation is 5 stars. Hosts Rebecca and Russell are welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. It’s was the perfect start to our Victorian holiday. We look forward to our next visit.

The Butter Factory is not your fluffy, lacy, old fashioned B&B – Its groovy warehouse style accom set in gorgeous gardens with a real ’south of France’ feel. Would recommend eating in also as produce from the garden is delish and they really know the local wines well – lamb with Longwood shiraz was a highlight.

Imagine driving through peak hour traffic to exit Melbourne on a cold Friday night – it is slow going, minutes pass by quickly your projected ETA is much later than you wished for and the temperature IN the car, is way colder than that outside!!! You reach Euroa and have started to thaw…a little. “this better be good” you think more than once. Then you see the Euroa Butter Factory in all it’s fabulous glory. Impressive from the outside the inside makes your toes relax and your shoulders resume the relaxed position. The downstairs bar is a place you can relax for hours sampling some of the regions finest wines – my personal favourite is the Sam Miranda Arneis. The rooms are beautifully furnished with warm finished and VERY comfortable beds. The lounge area is a peaceful and beautiful room to read and talk and enjoy some of our hosts added treats (think home baked biscuits).
Rebecca and Russell our hosts are great at welcoming you to this fantastic property. Dinner can be arranged and the food is plentiful and hearty on this cold night. Great jazz sounds float through the air and a fire roars in the bar – I can see myself settling in for some time…

Galahs and parrots herald the new day and the smell of coffee climbs the staircase as we appear for breakfast. I am fairly quiet this morning – my sleep has been deep and cosy .My shower with Moulton Brown products has soothed away the city grime and has relaxed me further. Breakfast is delicious and I opt for fruit compote and cereal rather than a cooked breakfast of fresh farm eggs and bacon. Afterall I need to leave space for lunch at Ruffy Produce Store – a short drive away.

It is hard to imagine that this space was not so lond ago a working butter and ice factory – it is now a little luxury in a small country town that truly does refresh a weary spirit and body.

I love this place. A great place to stay for a week or weekend. The ambiance is relaxing and homely. A perfect place to getaway and enjoy the local wine and get treated like royalty, with the fantastic hosts catering to your needs. Perfect for an occasion too. I attended a birthday celebration there, and was a night to remember!

By intuition I discovered the Euroa Butter factory, a historic building located in an idyllic environment across the river from the centre of Euroa and now a sensational small boutique hotel. The accomodation has been styled to blend with the architectural nature of the original interior spaces, and the sweeping stair case from the entry foyer leaves one in awre as you ascend to the dining room for a pre dinner drink around the fireplace.
The Butter Factory is an intimate environment and leaves you with a feeling of being close, indivisible and in equilbrium with the surrounding countryside.
…. a masterpiece of balanced communication.!
