we were there one year ago from now during our travel throu Australia. We are still talking about our stay at limosa rise. The very friendly host and our walks in Wilsons Promontery specialy Millers Landing. The whole scene was unforgettable. It is too fare away to go there every year, because we live in the Netherlands, but we would love to be there again. We are glad that it was not harmed by the fire.
What a beautiful location and the views…well they take your breath away. Bronwen & Andrew are fantastic hosts, they ensure your holiday is everything you want it to be…..

Loved it, the proximity to the prom is just sensational. The perfect escape only a few hours from Melbourne. What we enjoyed most was being able to go bush walking during the day and come home to a cozy fire and breathtaking view.

The Porsche found it an easy and pleasant cruise through the South Gippsland Hills to Limosa Rise on Duck Point. We picked up a bit of local bubbly on the way. Our host provided us with an unobtrusive list of things we could do, if we became bored with our view from the five star accommodation. We just popped a couple of corks, sat back and sucked in the view and watched the comings and goings of the local resident echidna. A day marvelling at the tenacity of the bush to recover from the Prom fires and back to the comforts of Limosa Rise. Great towels. Departure time came too soon.

You can sit back with a glass of wine, heat of the fire and smell of a fantastic Bar-B-Que dinner, chat with friends or spend some quality time with your partner, or if an active trip is what you prefer you can acess numerous hiking treks, take your bikes and ride the rolling hills or take a swim from duck point.

The cottages at Limosa Rise are the epitome of elegance in a rural setting. The views of Corner Inlet are stunning at any time of day, and especially the morning. The accommodation is comfortable, private and fully self-contained. As a couple, or with close friends, this is an great way to spend a weekend away from the city in a wonderfully peaceful environment.
No photo can do justice to the fabulous views from these fantastic cottages. Our friends with us watching the changing lights on the wilderness, a glass of wine and cosy fire, breathtaking. The moon rise over Corner Inlet is something to behold. Possibly the best relaxing weekend ever.
Fantastic accomodation. It’s clear a lot of care has been taken to ensure guests want for nothing. Clean, quiet and really beautiful with a fully equiped kitchen, very comfortable beds and great finishings. The views are amazing and we had a beautiful experience staying at Limosa Rise.
Comfortable, beautiful, meticulously designed and cared for, Limosa Rise cottages are an absolute treat to stay in. Gorgeous in any season with floor to ceiling windows and truly breathtaking views. A sprawling deck equipped with BBQ makes for great summer dining, relaxing and sunbaking while the wood fire and cosy couches make it a snug home in winter. A real 5 star experience that comes highly recommended.
