Great place to stay as well appointed, individual villas and units which guarantees
own space. Very relaxing with great walks along boardwalk to the village. Swimming, golf , table tennis and childrens activities are available to entertain all.

McMillans of Metung – It’s captivating, wide open spaces, leafy and serene surroundings, clean and beautifully manicured grounds. Ideal for relaxation. We keep wanting to go back again and again.

We stayed here in September 2009 with three small children. The gated holiday community gives the resort a sense of exclusiveness at the time making you feel secure. We stayed in a spa villa which was extremely well appointed and presented. The playground was great for the kids.
I loved all the little extra little notes around the place, it made you feel that the managment really put a lot of effort and care about keeping the place clean and presentable.

Have stayed at McMillans of Metung in July and September this year, enjoyed both stays immensely. Villas are very well appointed and location is tremendous with a very tranquil feel. Tennis courts and games room are good attractions for kids during the day, fishing close by and the boardwalk adds further visions and memories.

My husband, son and I stayed at McMillans in May and although the weather was starting to get cool, there was still plenty to do – fishing from the jetty and beach, walking along the shore, eating at the beautiful cafes, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved walking around the beautiful landscaped gardens. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Metung has always been a favourite of ours, but this is the first time we’ve stayed at McMillans and will definitely not be the last!

My husband and I spent a lovely week, in a villa, at McMillans of Metung, which is our favourite holiday resort, for rest and recuperation from a very busy life. We loved the view, the beautifully tended gardens and the wonderful birdlife on the lagoon, which created an ever changing scene from our balcony. Although the weather was a little inclement it did not stop us from taking lots of walks and just being so close to the lakes was a joy in itself, ‘away from the madding crowds’. Our villa had everything we required and more. It was very peaceful and so close to everything that is Metung, which holds a a host of very special memories for us over many visits.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at McMillian’s of Metung – loved the views, the wildlife and the location in general. Great holiday for young families – Metung is a very friendly town. We were made to feel very welcome, enjoyed a hit of tennis, scenic walks, some boating on the lake and fantastic food at the Metung Galley. We’ll definitely be back!

McMillians at Metung – what a place – beautiful gardens, exceptionally maintained modern units, and all within a pleasant ten minute stroll along the boardwalk into the picturesque village.Combine that with the most friendliest hosts – Sandra and Noel and you have the holiday destination you have dreamt about. Highly recommended.

My familiy which includes elderly parents, young adults and small children have had the pleasure of staying at this resort many times over the past 5 years. We have always found it to be very relaxing and enjoyable with the proximity to the water and native flora and fauna being an absolute delight. We look forward to many more enjoyable visits.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at McMillans for Father’s Day. The kids fished so many times off the private jetty and our 11 year old daughter caught her first larger sized fish! Enjoyed the tennis, fantastic atmosphere and the lovely chocolates upon arrival. We all felt so relaxed and also enjoyed the walks we did into town and to the yacht club for dinner. Congratulations on a great place and we would thoroughly recommend it!
