What a wonderful place to stay. Our family will certainly be back to enjoy all the luxuries that Shannon and Simeon offer. They are wonderful hosts. We will certainly be back again soon.
What absolutely wonderful hosts Shannon & Simeon are. Nothing is too much trouble for them and if only there were more moteliers with their attitude. Rooms are spacious and extremely well maintained. My only wish is that they have a kennel or two for “traveling pets”.

Stayed at Ovens Valley motor inn when touring the area with several friends. Good location, quiet area, clean rooms,easy access to all areas. Only regret when we stayed was that the restaurant was fully booked with a bus tour so we did not get to eat in. The staff encountered during our stay were friendly and most helpful.

Stayed at Ovens Valley Motor Inn with our Probus Club. Great value for money. Tasty ,healthy, meals. Clean rooms. Quiet location. No stairs, perfect for us retirees. Magnificent, scenic area. Coach picked us up. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole deal.
A great little place to stay. Clean and comfortable a short drive or walk from town and other major attractions, Mt Hotham, Mt Buffallo, Bright town centre and the list goes on. Really enjoyed our stay there and the family who run the accommodation also live there and are very polite and helpful beyond point of call.
We had a fabulous weekend here. The hosts are fantastic & nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and grounds were immaculate and we enjoyed the poolside & bbq area. The location is excellent, right near the bike track & also close to town. You couldn’t get better value for money.

When our Family first booked accomodation at Bright we were unaware of a huge convention in the township and there was no accomodation available, until I contacted Shannon & Simone who gave us the perfect family room. My children enjoyed the pool facilities and the beautiful bike track right nearby. Both hosts were lovely and the service was excellent we have been again since and we are going again at the same time this year. The family loves Bright and looks forward to staying at the Ovens Valley Motor Inn. Our family highly recommends Ovens Valley Motor Inn for all families and couples to receive excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere.

Just like being at home, only it’s more comfortable, tidier, the food is better and there is a distinct lack of disrespectful teenagers. On second thoughts it’s nothing like home, thats why we love it so much.

Our family has stayed at the property a number of times and will certainly be back again. Our experience has been a motel that is a home away from home with friendly hosts, excellent facilities in a beautiful setting. It has helped to make Bright one of our family’s favourite places to visit.
The trauma of organising my first outing for our Probus club was taken out of my hands and dealt with happily by Shannon and Simeon. Nothing was too much trouble, and anyone who has dealt with groups will realise that that is a compliment in itself. Our rooms, meals and outings were all that we could have hoped for. It left us hoping to return, and leaving was as if we were parting from our family.
We have enjoyed many happy family times at the Ovens Valley Motel.
Sim and Shannon are always warm and welcoming and go out of their way to ensure that we have a wonderful stay.

This beautiful place to stay is a credit to hosts, Shannon and Simeon. They run a clean, friendly and value for money motel in a picturesque location. Our family with 3 young children is very well-catered for in comfortable rooms with all we could need. The kids love the swimming pool and tennis court, we love the views and proximity to the snow and walking/riding trails. We love having our holidays here.

The Ovens Valley Motor Inn is a fantastic place to stay. The grounds and rooms are very well looked after and clean. Simeon and Shannon are very welcoming to families and nothing is too much trouble. We love coming back to stay and really enjoy the social atmosphere of the outdoor area. It really is a credit to the owners.
I arranged a trip for our Moovers & Groovers group in 2008 and we all had a wonderful time. The organisation , food and accommodation were excellent and provided a great foundation for our holiday. However, the warm and friendly atmosphere created by our Hosts Shannon and Simeon made it a place that you always want to go back too. So by popular demand our group has booked again for 2010. What more needs to be said!!!!
My son and I stay at the Ovens Valley every january. We love it. The hotel caters for all of our needs and it is beautiful as well. All staff are friendly, delightful and helpful. my son loves it so much that he wants to move in permanently.

I just love coming back to this beautiful motel in a beautiful part of the world.. The managers keep up the standard of an award winning motel all year round. The gardens are well kept and rooms very comfortable. Cant wait to get back one day soon….

A beautiful place to visit during any season with easy access to scenic walks, skiing and restaurants. Families are well catered for which makes going away with the family a relaxing experience.
We found the Oven’s valley motor inn to be a cosy place to stay during winter! The room was clean, spacious and well heated. Breakfast always arrived on time and was beautifully presented.
The Motel itself is in a quiet and beautiful location – an ideal escape when on holidays.

Shannon and Sim gave our Probus Club (Coonara Cherrybrook) the most fabulous service for our week long stay in April. The motel is well situated to enjoy the beautiful North East Victoria.

Ovens Valley is one of the most comfortable places to stay for a get away. Fabulous staff, clean rooms, comfy bed all the facilities you could ask for. Nothing is to much trouble, great service. Highly recommended for holidays, close to town and restaurants.
We wanted a clean & comfortable motel to stay at for a few days of touring around the alpine area. The facilities were as advertised, and the location of the motel ensured a peaceful stay. The hosts were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. A genuine manner of approach and very helpful with current and local information.
The alpine area is wonderful at any time of year, so many things you can do, and so many places that just deserve to be enjoyed. Our trip used this motel as a base, and we are so pleased that we made that choice. It lived up to the description in the accommodation guide, and the hosts gave it that extra zing which just made our trip that much better.

Ovens Valley Motor Inn would have to be the most comfortable and friendly place to stay ,we come every year and stay in the same room,along with our friends whom we have intoduced to Sim and Shannon they also rebook for the following year, we love the surroundings and the warm atmospher the place has, along with all the facilitys.the breakfast they provide is real home cooked,and we feel like it’s a home away from home, and we always recomend this place to all our friends whenever they visit Bright and there reply is that they just loved it so much that they also would recomend it to their friends,like they say you cannot beat word of mouth.we look forward to the annual hot rod event that happens in early November.The room is clean and comfortable and very spacious.

I’ve stayed at the Ovens Valley Motor Inn a few times over the last year while learning to paraglide in Bright. Stunning views from the inn, close to town and the rooms are clean and quite large. I will definitely be staying there again.

We stayed for the first time this year for the Alpine Audax in January. We didn’t have accommodation in Bright but the Owners rang us in Sydney when a vacancy became available – very thoughtful. Our two night stay was very pleasant with everything we needed provided
We enjoyed our stay a few years ago and the walk around the river is lovely. A pleasant way to spend a weekend. The room was very clean and the staff very pleasant. A great place to stay and explore the surrounding country side.
It is always a delight to visit with such friendly, helpful hosts. The combination of fresh mountain air, clean crisp sheets and great food make for a very relaxing break no matter what time of year.
Our first stay was last year when my family attended the Alpine Audax in January. The owners were very warm and happy to help us in any way. Our Son loved the pool, while the room was spotless. We have booked in for an extra day next year in which we cannot wait.

For many years my family and I have come to Bright in January and stayed at the Ovens Valley Motor Inn. It has always been a beautiful place to stay with great facilities including a swimming pool, tennis court and a fantastic restaurant. The family rooms were good and our kids loved the week we spent here. The children are adults now but still fondly talk about the time spent in Bright and at their favourite motel.
We make a yearly trip to Bright and have stayed here before and would stay again, with a family of five we look at something that is comfortable, clean and most of all good valve for money .Which is what we found when we stayed at Ovens Valley..
We are interstate travellers who found the Ovens Valley a pleasant stopping point on the return from Melbourne. We relaxed with the open air swimming pool and BBQ facilities. It was good value for money and the staff were friendly.

We had a lovely summer break – the accommodation had all that was needed, it was comfortable, clean and the staff were all friendly. The children had all activities they enjoyed covered and the tennis court made a great indoor cricket net as well. A nice easy stroll into the town for dinner and home to a good comfortable sleep what more can one ask for.

The Ovens and Valley Motor Inn is well positioned and offers excellent family accommodation. Quiet peaceful surroundings with excellent cooking facilities for relaxing nights. The owners are friendly and helpful and make sure everything is ready for a pleasant stay. If you want excellent accommodation with a warm friendly atmosphere with all the necessary conveniences i can highly recommend the Ovens and Valley Motor Inn.
A quick stop over on the way up to Falls Creek turned into a wonderfull nights stay in very comfortable and picturesque surrondings. We loved the easy drive into town folowed by a great meal and woke up all ready to hit the snow early that day. Beats driving straight thru from Adelaide!

Absolutley beautiful, had a sauna in the middle of winter! and awoke to snow on the mountain tops. We live on the dry flat hay plains so the scenery felt like we were in another country! Will be back this winter
I live in Bright, but I regularly have friends come up and I always suggest that they stay at Ovens Valley Motor Inn as it is a fantastic place to stay with wonderful hosts.
We found the rooms very comfortable & the facilities were great for the kids. It made a weekend away affordable for our family of 6. The hosts were very helpful as well.
