Wow!! We went on the recommendation of a friend and we will be back because we found everything we were looking for in an indulgent weekend away.
Great views, crisp white sheets, friendly but absent (unless needed) hosts, luxurient bathroom, warm open fire crackling while all the stress melts away.
We will be back.

Everything about the place was AMAZING!!!

Without a doubt the best place to stay along the Great Ocean Road! The views are priceless and the accommodation is second to none. We woke up to the sunrise, ocean views and the sounds of two kookaburra’s sitting on our balcony! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our 1st wedding anniversary.

We stayed at Point of View for 2 nights during our honeymoon. The view is amazing, from the any point in the room. The bathroom had a huge whirlpool bathtub, with a great view. Each cabin faces the coast, so they are very private. There is nothing but you and the view. We loved it and we wished we could have spent more time there. Whenever we return to Australia, we will definitely go back to Point of View.

Perfect! Point of view heads the top of our romantic getaway locations… My wife and I are return visitors to Point of View and will continue to do so in the years to come… From sitting out on the deck on a glorious day overlooking Apollo Bay or watching a storm roll in over the water… Point of View is a perfect location to unwind, from the moment you are greated by Alan and Glenda, you can feel the stress rolling off your sholders. It’s a great location to call home, whilst you explore all that the Great Ocean Road and the Otway ranges have to offer.
Magnificent is not nearly enough to describe the majesty that awaits you at this breathtaking place. From the warmth shown by the hosts, to morning coffee overlooking the rolling foothills as they meander down to the Deep Blue waters of bass Straight. Waking up and showering with those veiws almosts takes your mind off why you are there with your partner in the first place….rest and relaxation. There is nothing to compare it against in Victoria at all. Million Dollar experience is but a heartbeat away.
The morning began with amazing views (from the bed) of a breathtaking sunset across the town of apollo bay and the water below.. warm days were spent out on the balcony watching the waves.. cold days. inside enjoying a romantic spa together, or the double shower, or cuddled up on the couch in front of the fire! We couldn’t beleive we could watch whales from the spa, bed or balcony!
A point of view, is the ULTIMATE romantic getaway. Part of us wants to keep this place a secret so that we can stay there whenever we need to rest, recover and forget we are parents for a few days!! This place will put the romance back into any relationship.
What a fantastic place to get away from it all!! We loved the spectacular views of the ocean and countryside. The private villa was absolutely awesome with the spa over looking the ocean, and the log fire! Not to mention the hosts, and their lovely dog Zac, which were all very welcoming. We we’ll definately return soon!
All was fantastic….got met at 6.00pm in the dark when we arrived….the chalet was nice and warm due to the owner having put on the air con….the lights were on…a the fridge held some goodies….very welcoming indeed after a rush trip from melbourne late in the afternoon…
the view , was to die for on waking up ,however we had a very tight schedule and had to leave……but we will be back……(from Perth)

It is a truly fabulous place to stay. Comfortable, classy, quiet & relaxing wtih amazing views all round. Friendly proprietors and great service. Have recommended to friends who have made a visit and loved it.
The perfect place to escape the hustle & bustle of life & relax in luxurious surroundings. The views are superb, the villas have been fitted out with comfort and style in mind and indulgence is the order of the day. The hosts are never intrusive, but always available if anything is needed. Our anniversary weekend was truly memorable.
Whether it is blue sky or grey the views are amazing and the tranquility is to die for. Each of the cabins are very private with great space to stretch out and relax. A short stroll into the town for the papers and breakfast if that is your preference or stay in and just relax and enjoy the views; we did and looking forward to doing it again very shortly!
One of the most spectacular B&B’s I have ever stayed at. Its even better if the weather is poor, watching the rain come and go followed by the sunshine, all snuggled up in these spectacular Apartments. Quite sensational!

My Wife can be difficult sometimes, so I only want the best for her. Point of view was perfect, she didn’t complain about anything. The room was spotless, the view was priceless and the staff were always so helpful. Highly recommended.
Best place in Victoria for couples. Completely secluded, romantic getaway with absolutely fantastic views. Fully self-contained cabin, couldn’t ask for anything more. Excellent location and service. Money well spent and will definitely revisit. Must stay for all couples out there looking for a quiet romantic weekend.

I needed a place to get away to to start writing on my new novel. Point of view was the perfect setting. Lovely accomodation, superb views and the staff were so friendly. It really was quite ideal.

Simply beautiful, a perfect getaway.
This accommodation is just the best. From the veranda you can take in the views of some of Victoria’s most spectacular coastline and the Otway Ranges or you can use it as a base for countryside walks. The luxury villa’s are private, immaculately presented and on landscaped grounds. The hosts are very welcoming and a great source of local information and history.
It gave us everything we needed for the perfect stay !
