My husband and I went for a two night stay. We had the most romantic getaway to celebrate our 19th Wedding Anniversary. We utilised the resorts facilities the best we could in the time available. Many memorable moments, the ocean views from our private balcony with a glass of bubbly watching the sunset over the ocean, listening to the ocean waves rolling in the distance, restaurant menu difficult to chose, indulgent, the location of the spa in the serenity of the outdoors enjoyable, the whole resort indulges the wellbeing of all senses. We will be back….
Exceptional value for money as an RACV member. Couldn’t fault the weekend at Cape Schank. Beautifully refurbised rooms with a lovely ambience. Wonderful views. Warm friendlyy and helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast and loved the views of the golf course from the restaurant, especially the golf enthusiasts teeing off in gale force winds! Superb golf course. Have already booked for Christmas.
Cape Schank Resort provided the perfect place to escape for a few nights for us. The room had the most gorgeous views of the bay – stunning both at sunset and sunrise and the comfort was second to none. And we’re still talking about the buffet breakfast – YUM! Will definitely return.

You can’t beat the view from Cape Schank Resort rooms out over the golf courses to the ocean. There’s no better breakfast than the spread provided at the Resort Centre and the golf course, though testing, is very beautiful. Cape Schank Resort is close to both sides of Mornington Penninsula and espcially close to the Cape Schank Lighthouse and wildness of that part of the promontory. A great place to walk, ride, swim and to enjoy the serenity of our Victorian coastal region. It is our favourite holiday destination, one that we will return to time and again.

This is a great property, even on wet windy week-ends. The apartments are well appointed, fresh and have everything you could possibly need or want. The bathroom products are fantastic. The staff are very friendly and certainly flexible to accommodate guests requirements. The front counter staff are fantastic. I would highly recomend Cape Schanck as one of my favourite places to go – and I look forward to another great excape.
Wanting to get away from Melbourne for a quick break, Cape Schanck was the perfect place. Staying in a beautiful Ocen View Room with all the facilities you need for some R&R. A short trip to the Hot Springs for some pampering and then return for beautiful meals at the dining room (which also had Gluten Free Meals). This was a fantastic getaway that will regularly be repeated. It is even quicker to get there now with the East Link. The only problem is getting a booking before they all go!
RACV resort being the best relaxing environment I have been as it has almost all sort of facilities for people to enjoy whilest on holiday there. The environment, the scenery, tha facilities are all perfect for a holiday, short or longer period.
I really enjoyed it very much and I will come back for more with my family as they all agreed best value for money.

I love the mornington peninsula. Not too far to travel and the fresh sea air. There is a great feel about the whole area.

Magic! Only an hour from Melbourne on the wonderful Mornington Peninsula there is so much to do, or not! The staff are wonderful, the service and facilities terrific.
Mum and I really enjoyed our stay, great view either watching the golfers below or tankers in background, ocean is always a movement. Memorable dinner, then breakfast . I followed the paths and we just really enjoyed our time there.
Fabulous spot for a family break. Terrific spacious accomodation to suit all family sizes and activities to keep all ages happily entertained.

Our holiday at Cape Schanck was the perfect get-away, featuring great ocean views, beautiful grounds, delicious food, gracious staff – everything combining to make a restful, happy and memorable time.
Great destination. Little more than one hour from Melbourne. Wonderful views, plenty to do, including golf, tennis, swimming or just relaxing. And the food very good value. Lots of good memories.
We have been back twice and both times were very enjoyable. Rooms were great and dining experience was excelent and great service from staff.

Cape Shank condominium self contained accommodation is just superb. The units are newly renovated with all the latest mod cons, the setting is idyllic, just a short stroll over to the bistro area for breakfast and a short stroll onto the golf course. Great recreation facilities and perfect for a weekend away of rest and relaxation.

Our W/E stay there was extremely relaxing. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The rooms were well appointed with great views. Large rooms with very good facilities. Although we are not golfers it was good to have a try off the driving range. Meals etc were great. definitely worth a visit.

Stayed there a few weeks ago – it was my partner’s first holiday in Australia. A truly delightful property and enhancements – excellent breakfast and dinner, great rooms, great staff. There was a golf group arrived while we were requesting some information, a large squad of people. It was most impressive to see the unruffled staff attend to their guests courteously and efficiently. I have stayed at accommodation all over the country, and Cape Schank was definitely among the best. We shall return !!

Your Cape Shank resort is great value for money. The apartments are spacious and have great views over the ocean, a round of golf on the Cape Shank golf course is extremely cheap for the superb quality it offers and the service at the resort is of a high standard.
The condo has the most beautiful views, fully furnished and equipped and spotlessly maintained. The friendly and polite service staff is most commendable.

The whole family gets together to play golf, swim,play tennis and Relax.
The bufft breakfast is just great and the perfect way to start the day.

We stayed in the newly refurbished room which overlooked the golf course and sea. It was lovely. The golf course was great to play, interesting and fun course and very pretty. The service at the resort was friendly and very helpful. They even noted a conversation that I had with them about use wanting to visit some of the vineyards whilst we where there. When we arrived and booked in they where ready with the information.
Location just beautiful; accommodation superb; service first class; easy to drive to; a piece of heaven.

This is such a beautiful resort to unwind and relax, with so much to offer – both my husband and I enjoyed the hospitability, scenery, boardwalk, the King-Size bed and the view were magic. Definately the place to go – the spa,pool & sauna were an added treat for us even though the weather windy and wild managed to enjoy a little of the sun and the pool. It was truly value for money and the food was yet another fine dining experience. Thanks for the experience – we’ll be back with a group of friends in time.

Based around the Golf course, this resort is only a short drive from the shops and beaches, very nice and peaceful.
I love the location, the pristine, tranquil beach which I found a perfect place to hide, ride and walk away from the workday week, even in winter.
The accommodation is very comfortable and tastefully decorated surrounded by some of the best view in Victoria.
And it is worth even getting up EARLY for breakfast and the happy, friendly staff.

One word-Haven
A beautiful tranquil get-a-way to relax and gaze at the brilliant stars each night. Lots of lovely walks and day trips to explore the area. The breakfast each morning is something to really look forward to.
Though a non-golfer I found the Resort relaxing and to be surrounded by Nature such as I was, was a most peaceful and beautiful experience.
Cape Schanck Resort epitomises the true get away, with a tranquil but picturesque setting, a world class golf course, excellent food and beverage options on site, and friendly and obliging staff.
Having stayed at the Cape for the night in a room facing south ,the view was outstanding, the dinner excellent .
We could hear the golfers on the course,but were not visible,most unusual.
Cape Shank is a fantastic place to unwind and renew your mind and body then enjoy the amazing views with friends and family. The golf course is great and the restaurants are great and have gluten free food also. Have Fun and return to Melb renewed and return another day.

What could be better than sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down over the ocean while enjoying a glass of wine.! A beautifully furnished and comfortable room plus delicious breakfast overlooking the rolling greens of the golf course. Difficult to top this one!

We have been there with group of friends. Everyone loved the place and enjoy the activities i.e. tennis, swim, golf etc. Nice food and very comfortable accommodation.
Whilst i haven’t stayed at the resort, it is certainly on my too do list. I have driven through the grounds and am amazed at what is to offer in terms of views, facilities and surrounding country. As i live in North West Victoria and don’t get the opportunity of being in such an idyllic area i plan to book a stay at Cape Schank and take advantage of what is on offer.

48 years ago my late father and I would walk over this sand dune country rabbiting every Saturday afternoon. What a transformation today I can hardly believe that I am walking the same ground. A wonderful resort to relax weary legs and relive the past in total comfort.
So close to so many beautiful places and things to do, surrounded by the stunning golf course but for those not all that interested in golf like myself theres wineries, beautiful produce, markets, National Parks, beaches (swimming & surfing), eateries, Arthurs Seat, there really is something for everyone just a stones throw from the resort (which itself is amazing!!) you could spend a month here and still not see everything in the area!
We have visited this resort several times to play tennis and golf and to enjoy the peaceful accommodation set amongst the rolling hills of the course

Close enough to drive to after work on a Friday from Melbourne; leaving time to enjoy dinner at one of the amazing nearby restaurants. Secluded and private for complete relaxation but close enough to the hustle and bustle of nearby Sorrento to indulge in some retail therapy.

Even though cape shanck is not far from our home , We recently spent a night there with ten freinds who also live locally. We had dinner and alll played golf the next day. It was like having a miny holiday without travelling too far. We found the resort and the food great.

Secluded with all the advantages of good restaurants and wineries nearby. Private with the chance to just chill out and be yourself. Comfortable and yet suitably windswept and natural. Good value and yet offering all the comforts you need for a relaxing break from the rat race. What’s more, it offers the chance to get out of the city with only a shortish and easy drive. If you want to be active, it’s all there – walking, golf, exploring. If you just want to blob, you can do it in comfort and without any guilt! What a combination!

We enjoy the nearby walking tracks, the great views of Bass Strait, and the challenging golf course, as well as the excellent RACV service.

Great value for the family, with plenty of on-site activities including swimming, golf, walking tracks, tennis. The meals have also been first class everytime we have been down there and the recent refurbishment of rooms has also improved the stay dramatically.
We had a great time here for our family break, some day’s were ordinary so we stayed in. The surroundings inside & outside were more than compensating, we unwound & enjoyed ourselves!
This place is situated at The Mornington Peninsula, (CAPE SHANK), the service is NO.1, plenty of facilities,(GOLF, TENNIS, SWIMING POOL), IN the Morning at the restaurant, you can have a full breakfast, and then you can go and play golf. The rooms are superb, TV BIG SCREEN, FOXTEL,AIRCONDITION OR HEATER> The view is awsome.

A wonderful relaxing place to stay, very cosy in Winter and the views are magnificent. We enjoyed the restaurant and all that the Peninsular offers for all ages.
It was so peaceful and just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway to recharge the batteries. The golf course is wonderful.
Even though I was sick when I stayed at this resort, I still enjoyed it due to the ambience of quiet and relaxing, the room with ocean view and fresh air, the delicious dinner and breakfast and in particular the very friendly and attentive staff.
