Coming from interstate (Tasmania) RACV City Club is so central to all Melbourne’s attractions. Handy service to hotel from the airport’s Skyline is a savings. Relaxing environment with great dining areas & sports facilities we only left the hotel once during our two day third stay to take the tram & see a show.

Fabulous family rooms. The kids love the pool and the buffet breakfasts. I get to use the gym and massgae while hubby looks after the kids in the pool…
Excellent location, excellent value, superb rooms, caters for all types of occaisions, very friendly and accommodating staff. Have stayed in many 4 & 5 star hotels elsewhere in Australia and haven’t found better than this. Family & friends who have enjoyed the Club with us have continued to rave over it long afterwards.
not only a prime location, wake up and treat yourself to a massage, meet the family for lunch at the restaurant downstairs then after an afternoon nap venture down to the gym before dinner and a show out in melbourne. all from the one location. amazing

where do i start regarding the “Wonderful RACV Club “we have in Melbourne “5 Star “as far as we are concerned ,service by all staff just wonderful rooms so lovely and clean ,we are not young but were treated like a “King and Queen “..The Food was “Simply the Best “..Ten out of Ten R-A-C-V.
Great spacious rooms, prompt valet parking, friendly helpful staff, good eating and drinking options, and children love the pool. And all this right in the heart of the city. Please don’t tell any more people about it!!!
My wife and I live in the rural outskirts of Melbourne and find the RACV Club to be a perfect option to stay whilst in the city, rather than driving all the way home. Dining options at the club are exceptional and the rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable (which we all know is the downfall of so many hotels!)

According to my taste, i think it is a 5 Stars, Hotel, The rooms are superbe, the Full breakfast is awsome, the Service is NO.1, and where it is situated is Melbourne, is close to all facilities(cinemas, restaurants, the Crown Casino etc….) Even my daughter in law, LOUISE DALARIS, and friends always recommende it.
As a forrrmer councillor we always stayed when visiting Melbourne, it was central to all meetings with clean rooms, excellent staff and meals. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Melbourne.
We just love the RACV Club in Melbourne. As well as accomodation when we are in town from Ballarat we have used many of itsother services. We just recently celebrated my son’s 18th birthday with a dinner in the bistro with 22 family members! I have taken my mother to a number of lunches and speakers, the last one was amazing with ‘Mao’s Last Dance’ author! We have used the Gym, Library and Pool tables on occasions as well. I think though the best feature of the club is the staff! They are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have even organised a wheelchair for my mother when we attend the Open.

We relocated to the gold coast back in 2005 however our heart belongs to Melbourne and the Club is so central and fulfills our every requirement. We come to melbourne around three times a year and love the Club.
It has the best of everything,not only in the club its self but its great position in the city for shopping and entertainment venues
Being 100Km out of town, the city club is a great place to stay whilst visiting the big smoke. Home from home !!
Absolutely awesome! I had the opportunity to stay recently and if there was to be a “perfect” place to stay then this would have to be it! The food, location, Management and staff were a delight, so professional and friendly alike, for me the RACV Club wins hands down!
The total experience of the City Club is just fantastic.
Morning coffee and cakes in the cafe, some city shopping, back to the Club for some quite time in the library then an afternoon gym workout with spa and sauna which gets you in the mood for a pre-dinner drink or two in one of the bars, casual dining in the bistro sampling the layered entree selections or for that special occasion in the Members Dining Room, perhaps some late night pool with a port then off to bed in a 5 star room. With your car safe and sound and conveniently parked downstairs what more could you want.
RACV members can be very proud of their city club- with excellent hospitality and a fantastic location, it offers an unmatched base for any visit to Melbourne!
The RACV City Club is in the heart of Melbourne City and caters 20/10 for buffets and room accomodation all of which is the best i’ve seen. I’ve visited many hotels Australia wide, incl Royal Pines in Qld and the City Club still stands out for me.
The atmosphere, the service and the Culinary experince makes it a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed there with my husband whilst seeing a concert in Melbourne one weekend. The service was tremendous. Each staff member from reception to the housekeepers were so polite and pleasant to deal with. We were very impressed.
High quality accommodation with great service. Very convenient as it is close to Etihad stadium and the city. Convenient for parking too.

fabulous location especially for country people to go shopping! The gym is so easy to use and the equipment is in such good condition! the beds are comfortable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Our kids love the movies and the “all you can eat” breakys.Excellent place, we stay no where else in Melbourne.
