The ultimate in luxury. We had the pleasure of staying overnight on our one day honeymoon. Dinner at Melba was heaven, we slept like babies in the most luxurious comfortable bed imaginable and the concierge didn’t blink when we pulled up in a Holden Commodore for valet parking.

Luxury, opulence, dreamy, love, escape are the first words that come to mind when describing our experience at the Langham hotel. From when you enter the foyer with the magnificent chandelier’s, marble & mirrors to the most comfortable & beautiful blissful bed, the luxurious marble bathrooms that make you feel like royalty and the delightful staff. Just one night at the Langham feels like we have been away for a week and does amazing things for the soul. The views are outstanding and the Chaun Spa top class, not to mention the Aria bar and Melba restaurant, which is our restaurant of choice for birthday celebrations.

The Langham stands alone with its beauty and elegance. Its one of lifes little luxuries. My daughter stayed there for her 18th Birthday and our family has stayed there once a year for the past 4 years. It’s quiet, elegant, has a beautiful restaurant with superb food, the chef’s will make any meal you request (my husband is a coeliac so its perfect for him), has fantastic views of the Yarra by night or day, the rooms are gorgeous, its central to the Casino, Arts Centre, Fed Square, Museum, Theatres etc. The Langham is great for a girls weekend away as you can swim in the rooftop pool, then into to the spa, sauna, steam room and beauty treatments.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic weekend in the city.

Great & fabulous 5 star hotel at an affordable cost with magnifficient classical & sweeping staircase can make you feel like Royalty. Service here is impecable. Buffet breakfast is with varieties and it is delicious. Dinner sitting by the window with a glass of cocktail and look at the twinkling lights of the city is magical. The room layout is some what classical and modernlize with luxurious touches ensure that you will come back.

The location is perfect if you want to explore Melbourne city on foot. It is so close & central. To my surprise Eureka -Skydeck is just less than 5 mins walk. Vallet parking is such a great service.

The Langham looks & is luxurious & is a great base for Melbourne adventures. The in house restaurant is great & we have met the Indian cricket team, State Premiers, & local identities there, so it is a great place to people watch. Once you are on their computer, you are made personally welcome which is nice in todays large hotels. They have a yummy chocolate tower too! Can recommend it…….go there, you won’t be sorry.

I gave my daughter a Langham treat for her birthday and the staff ensured that she and her husband had a wonderful, luxurious time. She was even given a birthday cake with sparklers, much to her surprise.

When booking, I found that the reception staff were courteous and attentive. I was surprised to find that they had noted my daughter’s birthday and arranged the little surprise with a cake.

When I travel into the city, I always wish I could stay overnight and my area of choice would be at Southbank. The Langham is the ideal place, it offers everything I would need such as a 24hr front desk facility and the vicinity allows one short strolls to enjoyable venues. The Langham is the place I would like to have my overseas relatives stay to catch the best part of Melbourne.

The Langham Hotel exudes luxury and opulence at an affordable price for any occasion. The Hotel Foyer with its flow of cascading water features resembles something akin to the most prestigious hotels in Europe. My Husband and i unfortunately did not manage to have a honeymoon as i fell pregnant. We often check this hotel for special deals and dream. We have celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and my husband’s 70th birthday in the most beautiful, private rooms overlooking the Yarra, Flinders Street Station and the city. Memories are made of this.

For our wedding anniversary I would like to book into this hotel. We live in country Victoria so a place that is centrally located would be perfect. Staying in the city is a treat so something luxurioius, as this hotel appears, and out of the ordinary would make the event very special. The Langham has the best buffet in Melbourne and is in a brilliant location just out of the hustle and bustle of the city but still walking distance to the MCG or Etihad Stadium to catch a footy game.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the Yarra river. Great views! Room was elegant and spacious. The bar downstairs had a great vibe. Close to everything Melbourne has to offer.

The Langham Melbourne is a wonderful hideaway when one just needs to get away and take some time out. The Chuan Spa is magical and you will leave feeling like you are floating on a cloud. Afternoon tea at Aria’s or dinner at Melba’s but in my case I’ll do both thanks as this is the one place that you want to completly pamper ones self so why miss out on any one thing, just do it all.

We enjoyed the Langham Hotel so much for our recent wedding anniversary, that all our plans to visit various places in the CBD and adjoining gardens were scrapped … and we spent the entire weekend in our luxurious room, enjoying the delights of the room service menu … and neither of us has any regrets!

    Highly recommended.
